My favorite rivalries are :
GE Vs VLT: The biggest Indian Valorant rivalry and will continue to be one because both of them will be equal for quite some time.
TSM vs SEN : The biggest rivalry in the early days of Valorant tournaments.(However, I doubt they will ever meet again).
G2 vs FPX: The competition for no.1 in EMEA during the early days of EU Valorant. Expect to see them play again in the current qualifiers.

But Jamppi is an excellent Sova. He really excels on Sova more than any other agent so he needs to continue that.

posted about 2 years ago

Let them play first then we shall talk about them.

posted about 2 years ago

Looking at the agents ScreaM is playing right now he has played a lot of Skye and Jett in tracker.gg. So I have a feeling he will be playing Flex and maybe Nivera slots onto the Jett because he is a good Oper and ScreaM is not.

Reyna is definitely not S tier now. Icebox is the only map she is played on and if you play her on any other map you are a lunatic. In the current meta utility dumping is very common that is why people prefer playing Kay/0 over Reyna on Icebox nowadays.

Really unfortunate that they didn't listen to your advice.

I don't think nobody hates any team as much as Sentinels and especially Shahzam

posted about 2 years ago

Even TSM fans can't do anything properly like their team.

posted about 2 years ago

True. I didn't know Trent's background or where he came from but he certainly seems like the best player on The Guard and also in contention to become one of the best Sova players.

posted about 2 years ago

I haven't heard of Trent before his time on The Guard but certainly he has been their best player in the tourney along with Saya

They just won the qualifiers for Challengers Playoffs in September, but you're right about the ego part.

Nobody was talking about EU here.

Acend's bind comp has always been meta excepting for the fact that they don't use Astra instead of Brimstone. But Bonecold shines on Brim so putting him on Astra would only make them weak.

When did an international Valorant game take place?

posted about 2 years ago

So I watched India's VCC and reviewed the changes that has happened after the last major tournament. The last match of Indian Valorant I had seen was GE vs VLT in VCC finals and GE vs F4Q was the last match that I had seen an Indian team play live. Today after watching GE vs TR and EG vs VLT I realised that not a lot of Indian teams have adopted new agent picks and continue to bask on agents that had been released previously. EG vs VLT surprised me a lot because both teams were running Jett and Raze with Sova. This was one of the earliest meta comps during 2020 and the only change is that Astra has replaced Omen.

I watched a couple of SEA teams play and they seemed to be running different comps. Many teams seem to be running a lot of KAY/0 and the top 3 teams in India have not used Kay/0 as of recent. My question is, "Are Indian teams in the meta? If we don't innovate will we able to catch up with our neighbours?"

My Top 10 of 2021:

  1. Cned : The reason I picked Cned here was because he was consistent throughout the year. An MVP performance in Masters 1 was the beginning and Masters 3 showed that he had the potential to do it on LAN as well. At the end of the year he is the most consistent Jett and his Prism OP is evidence that he is one to be reckoned with.

  2. NAts : NAts at no.2 might be a bit controversial but that's not had for a Cypher/Viper main. MVP of masters Berlin and a good performance at Champions is evidence that he deserves to be here at no.2. His champs' performance wasn't on par with his Master's 3 performance but winning Masters 1 and 3 are great achievements for arguably one of the stars of the future.

  3. Tenz : Tenz at 3rd needs no justification as well. Best player at Masters 1 NA and Masters 2 and a really good showing at Masters 3 as well. His performance at Champs is what puts him at 3rd and his adaptability on any other agent other than Reyna or Jett is a cause of concern. With a wider agent pool, and better Oping, he could be the best player next year as well.

  4. ScreaM : Arguably the best Liquid player since their inception. His Jett, Reyna numbers are insane and he's ready to be a team player at times too. He carried Liquid through the first half of the year and his clutch against G2 at RedBull Home ground could be one of the best this year.

  5. Chronicle: Man is the definition of consistent and flexibility. Can play any role in the team and can be a good one at that too. Fantastic performances in Masters 3 and Champs show that he needs to be here at no.5

  6. Yay : He brought Envy from a top 4 to top 2 in NA and the world upon his aquisition. He was the best Jett and 2nd best players at Masters 3 but his lack of accomplishments in the form of trophies put him at this place.

  7. Derke : You may argue that Derke doesn't deserve to be here, but I can say that after Fnatic acquired him, they became one of the best in the world and came close to the Masters 2 title. He was definitely the best player for Fnatic at Champs and Masters 2.

  8. Shahzam : I can say that he is still one of the best IGLs in the world and you might disagree. Adapting on to a role of Sova, Skye and Breach in place of your Jett is a big sacrifice just to accommodate your star player. Consistent ever since the beginning but a few bad performances from the team overall let him down. After all it was just a few rounds away from making it to the SFs in Masters 3 and QFs in Champs.

  9. Keznitdeus : One of the best flex players at Champs and his potential was present throughout Berlin. He got a chance to prove it against Sentinels and Fnatic and a top 4 finish is good evidence as to why he is here.

  10. Crashies : Stats may say that he was only good at Masters 3 but he has been consistently playing well for the entire year. Part of the reason why Envy succeeded in the first place without Yay and he makes it to the top 10.

Honorable mentions : Zeek, Starxo, Magnum, Heat, Sacy, Munchkin, Stax, Rb, D3ffo.

My bad. However the entire post reflects that Karma strikes you back if you trash talk.

posted about 2 years ago

He could have phrased it in a different way or just ended his talk by just telling that EMEA is better. He jokingly did it again in the post match conference after the C9B game and look what happened in the Semifinals.

Indeed

Many people think that to win in Valorant you need to have really good aim, game sense and complete hardwork. However the success formula in Valorant is just not to trash talk. Evidence is given below :

EU fans and pros trash talk NA before Masters Reykjavik. Result : An NA team wins masters and a team with a substitute crushes your favourite for the tourney.

ScreaM : "Sentinels is predictable" Result : Sentinels win masters 2 without dropping a single map.

Sentinels fans and Sentinels' pros trash talk EU and talk about the Sentinels 'ERA' before Masters Berlin. They also claim that they are the best team in NA and no team is close to them. Also trash talked G2 in the name of banter. Result : Get crushed by G2 in a so called "Seeding Game" and get your a**es kicked by Envy in the Qfs. Yes, the era ended even before it began.

Starxo trash talks NA during their QFs matchup against 100T. Result : Lose a 12-7 lead and throw the series against 100T.

Envy calls themselves the Best in NA before Champs. Result : Get eliminated in groups by a SEA team whose best player wasn't playing Valorant for the last 5 months.

Kolda and Keloqz call themselves the Best before LCQ. Result : Get owned by so called "pay check stealers",Guild.

Zombs trash talks South America before their KRU matchup. Result : Get owned by KRU.

Brazil fans trash talk EU after VK vs Ace. Result : An exploit screws you over and gets you eliminated after being hyped as the best BR team.

End Result : Trash talk gets you nowhere. All it gets you is Ls and negative impressions from people who cannot understand Banter.
Moral : Never trash talk anyone( Unless you are G2 or G2 Carlos. They're the people who do it best).
Edit : The aim of this post is not to prove trash talk is bad or it should not be done. It is just a sarcastic post to justify evidences that people who trash talk for banter or not just get kicked in the back. So if you're team wants to win just hope your team doesn't trash talk.

The inevitable happens and both C9 and Fnatic reach the finals to face off for one last time. The series is tied at 2-2 and the final map is Fracture. The score favours C9 at 12-11 as Vanity is left in a 1v3 clutch to prevent the game from going to overtime. The spike has been planted as Vanity marches onto site with a Judge. Doma flashes himself like in Iceland and Derke is sent flying with his own satchels as Vanity shoots two shots of the Judge to create it into a 1v1. It's Boaster vs Vanity. Boaster outbrains himself trying to lurk Vanity but little did he know that he was going to get lurked on. Vanity takes his knife, stabs Boaster in the back and stares into his eyes, gets the defuse as Cloud9 are crowned as Champions. Little did we know that Jack is the one to survive this 'Titanic' display between these 2 teams.

Vanity has done it. The only son of Steel does it again. Vanity is NA's only and last pride as EU teams start to dominate for the next 10 years.

Soulcas was pretty insane too. It's over for Sentinels. Clean 2-0 I guess.

gambit don't look underwhelming, their 2 wins looked very clean and was a stomp.

posted about 2 years ago

ATM, it seems 100% possible. They are looking very shaky and I don't see it going beyond 2 maps.

posted about 2 years ago

They really played well on icebox and Bind(1st half). Credit to them for taking a map of Gambit. It seems now that we may have Team Secret in the playoffs!

Br- Icebox

I don't think it's serious. If Gambit do lose one map, then it might be.

Speaking of Shroud, He's live.

I wasn't talking about the English bud, the level of confidence in that guy's speech was amazing. He also presented it very well.

The guy from Team Secret spoke very well.

Pro players aren't allowed access to watch party streams otherwise even Hiko, Subroza and Wardell could've got permission.
The watch parties are given to people who have been consistently watching Valorant and those who have an influence on people. Kyedae has been watching Val ever since Masters 1 that's why she got rights to watch party Champions.

posted about 2 years ago

Whom FS or Fnatic?

posted about 2 years ago

More like where are the EMEA fans who s**t on Fnatic before champions. FS weren't overrated, Fnatic were undermined to the level that people didn't even consider them top 10 in EMEA.

posted about 2 years ago

Drop Ange1, get Bonkar and he will utilise Shao's true potential. Otherwise, we may well be prepared to see Shao on Brimstone in every map.

posted about 2 years ago

Honestly, you cannot blame Shroud for his boring watch parties. Man has watched more Valorant than you can ever imagine this year. He watch partied the masters 1 qualifiers, Masters 1, pretty much the entirety of Stage 2 qualifiers, Masters 2, then Challengers Event for Berlin and a little bit of Berlin Masters as well. Doing watch parties for like 12 days a month is impossible for him because he has to do a lot of sponsored streams as well.

posted about 2 years ago

Riot may have asked him but he probably could've denied given the fact that he doesn't want to watch Valorant for 9 hours everyday.

posted about 2 years ago

You get downvoted even if you speak nicely.

posted about 2 years ago

I guess Shroud didn't want to be involved today.

posted about 2 years ago

It also had only 1.3 million in the Semifinals. Finals was the only relevant game in the entire major as people wanted NAVI to win and witness S1mple lift the PGL trophy.

posted about 2 years ago

KRU may have a buff since the great Sergio Aguero might be watching their games.

Nope, I don't hate anyone on this site. The only thing I want to convey to you is not to argue with every Tom, Dick and Harry and earn unnecessary hate.

Let us just hope and pray that no other player or coaching staff tests positive for Covid as I would like to see all the playoff matches on Stage only. It would be a shame if people got this far just to sit and play inside their hotel rooms. It would also take away the hype that Valorant has been creating for a year to present this event. Drop a prayer in the replies below.

Expecting another C9B vs Fnatic in the lower bracket elimination match.

posted about 2 years ago

After seeing the C9B vs Fnatic match I wouldn't say so. I seriously didn't expect to see Raze on Fracture from both teams when the operator seems very viable on Defense.

Mwzera is hyped because he is a flashy player and he is also the star of his team. Someone like a Tenz or Cned you see?
