The same goes for Chamber alarmbot as well. You can shoot it before it slows you.

I liked Sliggy's and Hiko's watchparty for the recent masters. During Champs I liked the Tarik watch party with multiple people.

The point of a trap is to punish people for flanking or for pushing onto site. What's the point of just detecting? A sentinel is associated with stopping pushes with util. By removing the slow, he won't function as a Sentinel.

All this nonsense talk and you weren’t an FPX fan before last weekend. Good luck bandwagoner

I don't think the Chamber nerfs are going to affect his pick rate considering that the other sentinels are very weak.
Killjoy is utterly useless on maps with a Breach and with the Kay/0 buffs his nade can destroy the KJ ult through the wall. This puts her viability on maps like Ascent, Haven and Icebox in doubt.
Cypher on the other hand is useful only on Breeze and maybe Split but Raze exists. Unless you have a really good Cypher who has proper setups I doubt you can really find value with him as his ultimate doesn't do much.
Unless Riot introduces a balance patch for the sentinels like they did for all the controllers, I think Chamber is still going to be the number 1 picked agent.

Zeek was playing a lot of Omen during his last few games with Acend so I don't think there will be a role swap problem in the team.

Great point.

Well I think that's the irony of being one of the best. People tend to try it out for themselves. Look at FPX's no duelist comp on Ascent. Fnatic tried to put Alfajer on Sage for similar impact but it somehow didn't go the way they wanted it to.
A lot of teams started using Astra-Viper after NA's Reykjavik shenanigans.
A lot of teams started using Acend's double duelist split comp when Astra was in the meta.

If you're at the top a lot of teams will try to copy you and that's not lack of creativity, that's what works best.
Optic won Reykjavik with a Chamber and so a lot of teams tried to replicate them by using a lot of Chamber.

People are actually sleeping on NRG and TGRD. Apart from the meme that Sentinels go all the way, I don't think they might coz other teams just look better.

Put your Fnatic flair on if you are a real chad.

I guess the Chamber Nerf should be like this:
Headhunter bullets decreased to 6.
Trademarks increased to 2.
Chamber TP cooldown : 35 if he TPs or it is broken by the enemy and 20s if he picks the TP up.
Tour De Force : Slow radius and time decreased to 4 seconds.

If Chamber is not nerfed to the ground, then I still find him being viable in most maps. Killjoy might be a troll pick in most maps now that Kay/0 can deal damage through walls without line of sight. That removes her out of contention on maps like Icebox, Breeze and Ascent. Breach is a must pick on Haven and Fracture nowadays so I think her ultimate is useless in those maps too.

Cypher can be good but on which maps? I don't see him being viable on maps where there is a Raze. So his only good map might be Breeze.

Riot should ensure that the next patch is a balance patch for all sentinel agents; like the one they did in March that balanced all controller roles.

Genius pickem. Absolutely marvelous choices. Only problem is that all the boxes are empty.

Sentinels will win copium.

posted about a year ago

I'm on the SEN copium but realistically 100T look the strongest to me.

posted about a year ago

unfortunate, but this time there's a chance. Sgares and MikesHD are two big brainers and they might just pull it off.

If BBL wins then imagine the crowd at Istanbul!
I would like BBL to win just to see that scenario

posted about a year ago

Honestly with all that investment they have done, it would be disappointing to see SEN bomb out.

posted about a year ago

Well last LCQ also we thought no one but 100T stood a chance and then C9 and Rise popped out of nowhere.

It's on twitter, I don't think it's illegal and stuff.

I think you should remind that to yourself more than Optic.

The banter will begin pre-champs about who's the best, the favorites going into the tournament and power rankings, etc.

posted about a year ago

They are a very likeable team. They play exciting Valorant and that's what people want to watch.

posted about a year ago

Nope. They banned Ascent against FPX because they knew that FPX were really good on it.

posted about a year ago

That's Valorant. The best player will be the person who adapts to the meta and plays accordingly. Valorant will never have a team that will win 2 events in a row. That's the beauty of the game.

great take imo

Suygetsu > Shao or not?

You don't have to reiterate that fact when I myself accept that my team sucks a**.
However that doesn't change the fact that Fnatic have never won a mickey mouse trophy.

posted about a year ago

Fnatic can't even win a mickey mouse trophy.

I can potentially see Sashi the VLR user not come back to the site again forever if PRX lose.

Maybe it doesn't look like today

Accepting the truth is the most important part of being a good fan.

Derke wasn't his usual self for sure. His only good performance came from the UB FPX game and the Fracture map against LEV. His Raze hasn't been that great on Bind and against PRX he was losing a lot of OP duels which he usually would win online.

posted about a year ago

If FPX ban Breeze they can win 3-2.

posted about a year ago

Well that happened because EMEA fans were claiming they were so ahead of every other region at first.
You could even see Ange1 tweeting about NA not even getting a total of 5 rounds against EMEA.
When EMEA got stomped on, eventually every NA fan was going to talk.
If you ask me who initiated the whole debate it was EMEA fans for sure.

It just means that Mistic cannot be dropped otherwise Fnatic would not retain their circuit points.

posted about a year ago

Yes. I think you need to retain 3 of your members to keep your circuit points. With only Asuna and Bang remaining from the previous roster they made Hiko a substitute just so they could get the 15 points from Stage 1 groups.
IDK what VLR morons think when they downfrag me.

posted about a year ago

IDK which Masters you are watching because Masters does not have a Map advantage. PRX get a 2 map ban advantage if the same rule applies from last Masters.

posted about a year ago

And which world are you living in a**? I said it won't be a 3-0 for PRX. Read properly.

posted about a year ago

People might mention Zeek.

posted about a year ago

They have to keep him as a substitute like 100T is holding Hiko and Faze is holding Shanks.

posted about a year ago

I was right all along.

posted about a year ago

Not necessarily. I think FPX has a good map pool outside of their Breeze. PRX also bans Breeze and Split mostly. So if FPX reach the final it will be a map pool of Ascent, Bind, Haven, Fracture and Icebox. FPX have the best Ascent (on par with LEV) and a decent Fracture as well. Their Bind and Icebox are also decent. I can see a scenario where FPX lose 2-3 but it surely won't be a 3-0.

posted about a year ago

They won one pistol on Haven, both pistols on Bind and lost the anti-eco in the second half and won pistol second half fracture. I should say it was a shared pistol for both teams.

posted about a year ago

they can't I guess. They need 3 members of their core roster to be with them to retain their circuit points I guess.
