Over the years, I’ve steadily improved my rank. I started in Silver and eventually peaked at Ascendant, but I recently got demoted back to Diamond despite upgrading to the G Pro Superlight 2, and I just don’t get it.

I perform pretty well in most matches. There are times I bot frag, but my +/- is usually positive. In the majority of my games, I end up as the MVP on the losing team or at least 2nd. I only play Sentinel and Initiator, and I consider my playstyle focused on playing smart and prioritizing team advantage.

When I play Initiator, I focus on setting up info for my team, trading, and swinging with them. When I’m on Sentinel, I focus on anchoring the site or adjusting to cover my team’s weak map links. I also communicate pretty well.

I’m starting to think this game doesn’t reward good players who play the right way. I can play Duelist, but I usually adjust so my teammates can play their comfort roles, as I feel my mechanics are one of my strengths thanks to my CS2 background. My headshot percentage this season is 34%. My new mouse has boosted my headshot percentage and consistency, but I still feel stuck and don’t know what else to do to improve.

I don’t have any Valorant friends, so I solo queue all the time. I also play on my free time only and a duelist role isn’t my comfort pick.

Saw a dealership and heard they also have electric cars now. Any thoughts or experiences with these? Currently got a shogun as my daily.

My brother just got a new PC with the following specs:

• b550 with wifi mobo
• 2x 8GB dual channel ram
• NZXT 850 watts PSU gold
  Any thoughts on why it’s only getting 200-300 fps on low settings? Res is 1920x1080. On some maps, only gets like 160 FPS.

NA isn't toxic; people just can't handle constructive criticism, so they perceive it as toxicity. For example, if you're playing poorly and a teammate calls you out, your ego takes over, and you complain on VLR instead of accepting the facts.

Asc is the worse. Everyone thinks they should be immo or radiant. Some of the highest egos there.

So I joined a call as they just did a strat and o&o for the most recent Global Esports Xipto vs PRX match. Overall, I agree that GE midrounding was almost flawless. Can someone tell me who is IGL or coach responsible? Some highlights talked about awhile ago:

• Rounds like 13, 18, has one of the most insane midrounding after first contact
• PRX has a very good scaling but struggled on timing same problem as last year vs local teams
• Eneri has a very good game sense and feel of the dynamics of a duel coming from a gc player
• GE smoker has some of the most consistent aim observed. It was apparent however that he can’t dictate pace or call shots (possibly used to playing off call, or someone doing the micro)
• GE won because of midrounding and some insane igling on top of tempo
• Not a bad day for PRX but GE was miles better on that game.

P.S. Won’t be leaking any other info but thought of sharing it here as I was amazed by some insights and analysis that could probably help people here as well. Thanks for reading!
