Definitely sad to see him go, but PRX is no doubt stronger than it was before with Something. Benkai has always been the most disciplined player of the team, and I guess he just wasn't the fit for the team's playstyle.

T1 can potentially beat TL and NAVI so Im not sure what you're going on about

EMEA teams are literally drawing talent from the whole of Europe... Honestly Japan with a 120 million population can't compete with just their citizens alone.

He was pretty famous in Japan during his T2 career at Sengoku gaming and he was literally farming JP Challengers with over 130 kills in a BO5

I mean...you can't exactly blame them for copium when 90% of the users here think they aren't even gonna make out of group stages. I would say that people are underestimating them, but we'll see during the actual games.

Don't see anything wrong with hyping up your favourite teams. You're literally hyping up NRG when their current roster has yet to prove itself against other regions.

Following comments on Chinese teams were made by him

  • All pacific teams are really good on scrim but the most impressive teams were EDG, PRX and JDT(Japan Challengers)

  • EDG is really a strong contender

  • When ASE's ace player is on their high's, we cannot stop them

Why even bother coming up with an "accurate" tier list for teams, we've already seen enough upsets within the league playoffs and any team could lose on a bad day. That aside, most rosters across familiar teams have changed and delusional fans are still drawing on trophies and rankings from previous events to boost their ego.

So you save strats in the pacific grand finals just to reveal them later on group stages with less chance for preparations and a chance of getting sent home

Edit: For FNC maybe since they already secured playoffs

Loud is a very strong team but they aren't the favourites for sure. For your region? Probably

Yes I am now living on the streets with no pc and internet access

Did a quick search on twitter and these are the top 4 teams

FNC (Boaster Jp fans everywhere)
PRX (Something and W gaming fans)
DRX (Foxy9 used to play for REIGNITE)
T1 (Munchkin used to play for Crazy Raccoon)

Lootbox system to obtain displayable weapon skins on VLR profile. While you're at it you might as well add a trading market similar to Steam's community market

All fun to watch for different reasons

Pacific - Fastest gameplay
America - NRG and EG 🍿
EMEA - Insane aimers everywhere

Unless Demon1 carries EG to beat LOUD, ima go with Something. Dude hasn't even activated his bald buff yet and he is already insane

What are your thoughts on Dep vs Meiy

PRX with Mako would put the whole team roster in the top 10 of pacific player standings

NGL but PRX with their braindead W gaming in Copenhagen is too different from the current PRX. Something adds so much value to PRX compared to Benkai, and they've finally learned to mix up their strats a little instead of running straight into their opponent's crosshairs.

Pacific may be considered the weakest region in the eyes of EMEA and NA fanboys but lets not get complacent and let results show for themselves in Masters.

DRX probably saving strats, but we'll see.

Forgive my ignorance but does getting 1st seed mean anything in the pacific league apart from the prize money?

Yes, 闇堕ち isn't used to criticize him but rather, a fun way Japanese fans use to tease him after he turned stone cold.

The hateful tweets were mostly at the beginning after ZETA lost, until the tweets got overwhelmed by the supportive fans. You still see hate tweets now and then, but Crow was trending at 31k tweets (both hate and supportive tweets) just after the match ended.

I do agree that crow has been playing really bad lately, and that peek against T1 might have actually cost them the game. But most people don't know that he doesn't exactly seem to be in his best mental state as of late. Since April, lots of Japanese fans are talking about how he no longer smiles or shows any form of emotion. If you search "Crow 闇堕ち" on twitter, which literally means "falling into darkness" / "turning bad or evil", you will see lots of comments on this.

Here's an article on Gamewith covering a recent interview with Crow
https://gamewith.jp/valorant/article/show/400014

Q: これは何度も聞かれている質問にはなってしまうと思うのですが、crow選手から感情が消えたと大きな話題になっていました。感情を抑えてプレイするようになった経緯などをお聞かせいただけますか?

Q: This is probably a question that has been asked many times, but your lack of emotions has been a huge topic of late. Could you tell us how you came about playing like this?

Crow: I have always been the type to be emotionally unstable. I get excited when me or my teammates clutch, and demoralized when the opponent pulls off an insane play. This swing of emotions is especially drastic for me, so I tried to see how it would be like to reduce these emotions while playing.

The amount of hate in twitter among Japanese fans against him is already insane, albeit an overwhelming amount of support from fans as well. While I do think ZETA needs a roster change, let's give the man a break from all the hate on this forum as well.

I have to disagree. Apart from Something and Forsaken (sometimes Jingg), PRX actually loses lots of 1v1 duels if you replay their matches against T1, and I would say T1 and DRX are much more consistent aimers. It's just that PRX is so good at covering one another, and their use of ability is so in sync with their fast paced W gaming that tends to throw most teams off.

No hate to Benkai but I prefer the current PRX over Copenhagen's PRX. The value Something adds to the team is incredible, and I see the team has learnt to hold back on their W gaming and mix up a few other combinations of gameplay throughout the rounds to adapt.
