I think if its based on the performance over the whole year atm I'd say TenZ. I do think nAts is performing better than he is currently, as well as there being other great candidates such as cNed, heat, yay, Shahzam, etc. I would have to say TenZ overall would have this years #1 spot.

cool stat but the gun is fair and has good uses, yes phantom is better, but it is by no means in a state of necessary buff

Honestly have no idea how people don't know this already. I'm assuming most of them are just baiting/really mad that NA lost.

I think Brazil could win with the right team put together and given a couple years. They have good talent, just not quite there yet.

Their job is to process and make calls midround based on information given by the team so they can easily lose focus on their crosshair trying to think I guess. I mean ofc there are IGLs who are so good at both, like Shahzam as you mentioned, and Gla1ve from CSGO was similar.

They do have quite a bit of time before Champions though, especially with LCQs still. But I do agree they probably wont be the best fit right now.

A defeat here could be a good time to bring in a coach

The IGL experience

I believe so. It would work similarly to how VS does it.

no?

Other teams are catching up for sure, they're putting in a lot more work now that there are championships internationally to fight for and its great to see.

posted about 2 years ago

I suppose so, I'd love to see them face off at some point but probably not the most likely final

no FNS is the IGL

Personally think AvovA is a better controller. Not sure if relying on a controller in the first place is something I'd consider a good thing. G2 doesn't have to rely on anyone since they all fit their role in the team and AvovA is only able to go further by playing his role so well.

posted about 2 years ago

potentially they expect to reach the grand finals and then play it. meaning the other team cant counter-strat them since they have no reference of how they'll play the map. I doubt they'll actually do this but that would be why

posted about 2 years ago

dont know if playing breeze will be any better for them

not one of the best, they are the best.

thank you for the info

really? but wouldn't none of them have circuit points?

SEN vs winner of VS/Gambit

was really hoping SEN would play both of them but unlucky with bracket

posted about 2 years ago

Probably G2 or Liquid if they're playing as they are now. Unfortunately we cant have G2, Fnatic, and Liquid going together.

posted about 2 years ago

Ah so this is why they have so many viewers

posted about 2 years ago

I think Acend will play better than they did in groups but still see 100T winning that match
Gambit vs VS to me is so 50/50 but if VS gets bind and haven and choose to play lakia I'm confident in them winning over Gambit

this match making my pickems decision very difficult

I'm not familiar with league, how does their system work? (or you can just send a tournament name that used it and I can look it up)

posted about 2 years ago

What do you guys personally think would be the most entertaining and realistic system for future tournaments?

Having groups the way we do right now means certain teams will never or unlikely face each other. Because of this I believe the format should be adjusted one way or another.

I personally have always liked the idea of a Swiss System similar to that of the CSGO majors. I loved how it often led to more competitive games, and I believe it would give more teams the opportunity to play each other.

If they do choose to keep groups I would like to see larger groups but I can understand why that would be difficult to run.

posted about 2 years ago

yeah sucks we cant see SEN against both Gambit and VS, but it is what it is

posted about 2 years ago

It will have a lot of viewers but not nearly as many as the first match between them.

posted about 2 years ago

I honestly think VK fs PRX would be such a good match

posted about 2 years ago

They aren't limited as far as I know. It wouldn't make sense to tell them no to a pause if a computer breaks or something.
