SEN 3-0 was just objectively not close, rounds dont matter when you show over and over that you will choke games. FNC had advantages on those maps and choked. They continue to do it every event. SEN were the more experienced team and pulled it out every map.

Soniqs do pretty well in NA, they even took a map off SEN when SEN were basically prime form. Meanwhile SEA have done absolutely fking nothing despite getting free tickets to Masters. I just checked and between the two events they have won 3 maps, two of which against Crazy Raccoons who are equally shit. OCE have also had success in CS before while SEA have done absolutely nothing.

If these asian teams get free spots with nothing proven and no improvement shown after a full year then imo OCE should get one too. OCE have a history of doing well in CS as well, they have potential for sure as a region.

Problem is that the scene has an event like every 3 months, its actually ridiculous. They need an event every month to have the most important events actually feel important. Anyone remember those short $10k or whatever events they had really frequently during the start of valorant? Those had so much hype with TSM vs SEN. If they created a system like CS RMR system where those events gave a small amount of points and the big international events gave a large amount of points all leading up to the biggest event it would feel like its way more hyped. Rn the scene just feels kinda dead because of events being so infrequent. With that said you also dont want it to end up like CS with a weekly tier 1 event.

Yes they can. For example IEM fall in CS the entire group stage was played from hotel rooms but was still LAN just not on stage. Stupid decision from riot and low iq decision making. Even if players werent at the hotel they can still use a vpn to play on the same network from a different location (on lower ping however)
