I feel like people don't realize how hard the road will be. I'm guessing if TSM qualify for the main event of challengers 2 stage 3. The seeding will have all the newly qualified teams fight against the teams who qualified from last challengers in their first match. Which means that TSM have to fight against either: V1(WITH ZELLSIS NOW), Rise, GEN.G, KCP. I think KCP is the only one they could realistically beat maybe but even then. I think KCP have a huge chance to still beat TSM. So TSM lose the first match. Which means they are in the lower bracket now. And I mean if they get lucky they'll face FaZe or Ghost or smth. But even then. They have to win one more match after that. Which is really difficult. So now. The problem is. If they get seeded last. They fight XSET or SEN first match. Which means they have to do a lower bracket run through the whole thing. So yea. I find it unlikely.

And Imagine TSM just lose to DZ tmrw so all of this analysis is useless kekw.

I don't think they'll encourage third party LAN events but they'll most definitely help tier 2 TO's. I'm guessing what they'll do is a semi natural growing scene. Where if a TO is reliable and can work well they'll just support them and add them into the VCT probably. I think Riot wants to have control over most of the stuff in the scene so I wouldn't be surprised honestly if all events are supported by riot and partially hosted by riot. I'm guessing they are trying to make sure this'll work but have as much control over it as much as possible because that was at how ignition series came to be and honestly I think it's going to work a similar way for years to come.

Do I think it's a bad thing. Honestly. Not. I think they might need to add some events in between but I'm guessing Tier 3 events will just probably be for fun and like done by outside TO's and the nerd street gamer weeklies are doing really well for the Tier 2 events. I don't really think they need to encourage third party TO's to create tournaments.

The only thing I guess they might want to add is a collegiate league and they kind of are already doing that.

It's a relatively large event for India. I think it's Tier 1 or Tier 2 even if India might be worse than some parts of the world. The real question is why some of the Challengers Finals don't get pickems.

15-20?!?!?!?!? they were like top 15 max. I feel like you don't understand how small the Tier 1 scene in NA really is. There's practically only like 10 teams that are tier 1 in NA at the moment and Soniqs is practically at the top of the tier 2 scene so they should at least be top 15.

EMEA is probably the most cutthroat region at the moment. Even if you qualify out of your region. You have to beat everyone else in EMEA. There's a ton of teams and the level of competition is much more close than NA. Even if you say some teams are close to Sentinels in NA. Some teams in EMEA are arguably better than sentinels at the moment.
