I mean Acend did win masters 1. And EU had awful formats before so they kinda got buttfucked a little because of single elim.
"average good" that's not top 10 player internationally level. Shahzam is a really good player. Not just an average good player. Same with cNed. Also both of them are essential to their teams. cNed is meant to be the star. That's a part of how the team is structured. And Shahzam is an igl. And a top tier one even. Like SEN would not work as well without Shahzam unless they find another top tier IGL. Even if you say random good. What are the chances that his IGL skills are even anywhere near what Shahzam's is.
I mean Huynh wasn't the correct fit for the team anyways. And they really haven't kicked off any other player. GEN.G dropped effys and player1 a while back right? And effys got dropped before the match. And player1 was dropped when GEN.G were winning.

no. But on icebox they are. I feel like people don't realize how long it takes for metas to be realized. Sage was kinda meta from the start but it was uncertain. Just like the meta on breeze. We don't know what agents are good. But maybe the agents that are good aren't good for your team.

It's kinda like why some teams picked up icebox and some teams didn't. Icebox has some quirks that are odd. And the fact that sage and viper are meta on it.(yes 100 thieves. play ur fucking sage. idgaf if steel has 10000000iq. shut ur boomer ass and play sage.).
Also some teams don't want to put practice time into the new maps when they can hone the one's they already are good at.

It also has very good schools. My district is a little too competitive though. Literally too many smart people. Like there are so many smart asians that are good at math and science. I mean I'm asian as well. But wtf. Apparently someone from our District won mathcounts a few years ago. (I think his name was Daniel Mai or smth). Literally too much smart people. And we are also pretty good at the science olympiad in MA at least. So annoying though. Because in most other districts I'd at least be considered smart. But here. Not really. Literally half my friends are smarter than me and they aren't even in the nerd friend group with the 15 indian kids who grind rsm and aops(I mean I still do aops but I don't do rsm).
There's also some good colleges I guess nearby. Aka Harvard or MIT. But Idgaf abt either of those bc I know I'm not getting in.

IMT don't spend shit lmao. They just find players. Ask them. Then build them off to sell them. They have a weird scouting process where they put like players against eachother or smth i guess. But they don't spend as much as other rosters.
I mean NA also has a bit of ping but. Most teams try to practice how they can do better in the real matches in scrims even if they say they got shit on in the scrims. It's fine as long as they were practicing because that's what scrims are for. Practicing. I mean some teams also just do better than in scrims or worse than in scrims.
