I don't see Japanese users making statements that they could beat any region? We are just wishing for all the teams to do their best. You should stop making false statements.

You forgot to include Tyloo as well.

Agree with this. They're quite reckless when playing. It's literally the opposite of KR.

You need a phone number to create an account for KR server right? I'm living in Korea right now, but I am playing in JP server.

I think Japan Scene would be a banger this 2022. A lot of roster changes recently. I'm so confused about Muchnkin as well. I queued up against him a few times already in JP server and he still has that CR on his ign.

How about Shake Shack bro?

Afaik, a third party (Mineski) handles VCT tournaments for SEA. This will surely raise an issue within the region. With this, I think Riot will pull out the contract with Mineski as the organizer for SEA Tournaments. Maybe, that's why there's no information yet about VCT SEA 2022? If there is already let me know. Hopefully, all the teams and players that participated in the event will get their prize money. It's unacceptable for the prizes to be processed this long.

Probably C9 since Xeta is there his former teammate, But that's not gonna happen. I don't think, any NA team would want to pick up Munchkin. Alot of org currently trialing players in KR. I think he will join another JP Org since they pay really well compared to KR Org.

imo CR should fully commit on all Japanese rosters. Language Barrier creates communication issues ya know.

Unlikely to happen. Seoldam doesn't speak Japanese. He needs to be with Astell for helping him with the comms. Laz will also not happen, because he prefers to be with friends.

Yeah, ZETA Division looks strong.

Give it a shot young man(If you are younger than me). It's not bad to try, but why are you posting it here on VLR? You can get better answers on Reddit. I hope what happened to me doesn't happen to you kekw.

Honestly, playing against Chinese players is a nightmare in Ranked Games. It's all aim no brain and they destroy with that aim alone. I can't stop emphasizing how strong EDG players are with their aim. They ruined my ranked games and I lost my opportunity to get 6 Radiant Triangles this act.

Seems like it is unlikely to happen. A lot of KR players recently signed with JP teams. There is a rumor circulating that there would be more orgs to invest in KR Region or just uninstall LoL and play Valorant kekw.

I know that ping difference is noticeable, but I wasn't talking about a single regional Challengers for SEA. I was just stating the possibility of removing that one rule.

They weren't talking shit about APAC Teams. There is actually a translated document between the conversation of VS's Coach and KR Interviewer. VS's Coach said there are quite a few Asian teams that might be stronger than most globally.

Rules in the respective regions. For example in SG/MY. You can't have less than 3 SG/MY players in one team. This also applies to the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, and Japan. Not sure about Korea.

Edit: You can see this in the rulebook once you register for VCT in your respective region. It will state there that you need at least 3 players in the same region where you are participating. For example, you are playing in the Philippines. You need at least 3 Filipino in the team.

SG/MY is one and they're 3 of them in the team. Only 2 ID. You can't have less than 3 SG/MY in one team in their region.

I've seen a lot of posts suggesting that KR, JP, and SEA(Including SA) should merge into one regional tournament. This would be great because the minor regions that are lacking such as Japan would improve. However, the 'ping' makes a big difference here and there would be too many teams.

KR & JP
The idea of combining KR and JP would be great, but I honestly don't like the idea. There are indeed so many talents in both KR and JP, but the idea of importing KR players into the JP teams is a big issue. I don't want to see more KR players in the JP region. I want to see more Japanese players improving and Korean players forming a formidable team to challenge Vision Strikers. The issue with this lies down with communication between Japanese and the Korean language. The only Korean player I know that can speak Japanese fluently is Astell a former Northception player along with Seoldam. I do understand the desire for JP org to dominate their region through getting Korean players, but I think this would just stagger the region.

SEA and SA (South Asia)
Honestly just give South Asia a direct one slot. Too many teams are already in SEA alone and the distance between each other just creates a big difference in ping. Nothing to say about SEA and SA that much. Other than the rule of not allowing a mixture of different nationals in a team. For example, a team composed of SG/MY/ID/PH/TH is not allowed. We play in one server and I think they should change that one rule.

CHINA
I think they will dominate APAC. Aims just crazy. They're the reason why I stopped playing on the HK server and I don't want to see more of EDG. Just give them one slot. Frustrating to face Chinese players/teams. I honestly think their body is infused with aimbots.

Well, it's never good to see your favorite team/region in shambles. However, you gotta accept that the matches are really fun to watch.

I'm so happy to see tight competitions in this tournament. This is the tournament I want to watch and enjoy. Despite the controversial issues because of Riot's management. I'm very happy to each team showing us a very good tournament. Even though my favorite team lost against Fnatic. I still enjoyed the match and was very happy with the outcome. I'm still waiting for CR to step up and I know that will happen.

I also want to hear other users' thoughts on this tournament. I want to know if you guys are also enjoying this tournament.

I think that's not gonna happen. Zeta wouldn't allow communication issues. Imagine you have to translate between Korean and Japanese during mid-game callouts. Language Barrier is what I think is the issue with most JP's teams right now. I know you could argue that CR did better than ZETA, but it has been pointed out by a few CR players regarding this issue.

posted about 2 years ago

It has been an issue for him since the start of his CSGO career. I think he would be back by January or late December.

Probably, but I think communication is the main issue with JP's Valorant team. I just don't understand the reason behind having players from other regions that don't speak Japanese. I've been playing in Tokyo Server recently and English speakers are really hard to come by. So, imagine having to explain strats or anything basically during mid-game. There's also a tweet from CR Minty regarding the communication problem (Korean and Japanese) and now we can see more Korean players moving to a JP team such as Suggest who recently announced its new team on Twitter. This is my take and I could be wrong.

Same thought here about Minty. I feel bad that he didn't want to play in the tournament because of communication issues.
