They have fundamentally changed the way they play their post plants. They now sit back hold flank and have Trent play salvos with an open plant. It’s a easy way to win yes and that’s good for them but Trent stat pads with it.

I make threads about Trent because he plays fundamentally different than players like free1ng. Trent baits and plays post plant, while this is the correct way to WIN, it is not an accurate representation of his skill stats wise. G2 lean into the post plant meta more than any other team so it’s easier to criticize them for it. I never claimed it’s bad he’s a Tejo abuser as it is working. I’m simply stating he’s not as good as his stats reflect because of the situations he plays.

I’m not coping, I frankly don’t care G2 beat Sen. I’m just saying it how it is, Trent is a Tejo merchant and he stat pads. Idc they beat us, it’s how they beat us. And also the fact Trent is seen as a top 10 player. But he’s really not. Look at the grand finals games before and after tejo he does so much better with tejo when it matters.
