This is just me speculating but not long ago they were seen scrimming with nerve and apparently, they weren't doing bad with him. My guess is they tried to maintain their roster but after their "alright" performance in Tixinha invitational they saw they needed some new blood on the team if they wanted to make champs. Also, adverso's role was the IGL and since he is not the IGL anymore he is not worth keeping since he ain't a fragger either so.

They need to understand Demon1 just wasn't for LEV, even though he performed well kills wise, his agent pool was not what we needed. Sure, it's not the worst FURIA we've ever seen but I feel like many overestimated them after beating LEV & KRU in a Bo1 where neither of them was playing seriously it seems.
