It is literally THE ONLY horror movie that ever had a lasting “oh you’re gonna have nightmare about this movie” impression on me, and there is no special effects, visual or auditory.
I’m the type of person that really loves fear of the unknown horror (hence alien as well) and this movie really fucked with me, which is why I like it so much lol.
Wish I never watched the new one but it still holds a special place with me
