I heard "allat just to lose to mibr in lcq" for three weeks

If you told me at the beginning of split 1 that by the start of LCQ id be rooting for KRU I would've told you that you were crazy. I fell in love with this team while everyone else doubted them and the joy that their run has brought me is crazy. Seeing these guys succeed and be happy has been amazing.

I really started liking this team after they played NRG during the main season. I was hyped that NRG finally switched to non-troll roles and all I saw on VLR when I tried being happy about this fact was people saying "excited about beating KRU kekw." It is after this that I followed KRU have amazing improvement and close performances against C9, LOUD, and SEN that I realized how fun they were to watch and how underrated they were getting.

Now here at the end of split one we have a team who almost beat the top two seeds in their region, had an absurdly low round differential for being 0-9 and being constantly ridiculed, being grouped in with teams like KC and DFM who if you watched KRU looked leagues better than.

On top of having a new roster and coach, they had the most difficult schedule out of any team, being the only to play
MIBR with Heat
SEN superteam (without dephh)
EG with demon1
and NRG without troll rolls (ardiis finally on jett)

EVEN FURTHER, they played all the best teams at the end of their season, so all of their improvement was just completely ignored by people who don't closely watch matches.

And now we get to their LCQ run. While yes this team was criminally underrated its also true that their had a huge improvement coming into LCQ as well. That combined with the momentum of finally winning a match really made them look unstoppable on this run.

Keznit masterclass, this guy is my goat and an insane duelist
Klaus looks like a different player, he was one of the worst in the main season and now looks like of the best skyes americas has to offer
Melsex is a consistent beast
Daveeys chamber looks fucking insane, even on cypher he looked like a rock solid sentinel
and even despite nagz's underwhelming numbers this guy always did his job and had some crazy important clutches

Atom did wonders for this team, their strategic improvement also cannot be overlooked. Both lev and c9 came into this event looking crazy (its not a easy task to beat sen) and kru outperformed both of them in every aspect of the game.
