This is so true. Like DFM has solid macro and shotcalling but atrocious fire power. Tier 2 JP players have that fire powers they need.

Would you believe that they used to be teammates and got 3rd in 2021
Just making sure, the relegated team(s) have direct ticket to the ascension tournaments where they compete against other CL teams who won their regions. If they do not reach top8 they are sent back to challengers league of the region they came from. Am I understanding this correctly?
Wait so if 2024 ascension team (let's say m80) places 10th in league, they are relegated in one year? Didn't riot say ascension teams are guaranteed to play 2 years? What if both ascension teams places well? What if G2 and M80 places first and second respectively? Would they relegate M80?
ur good. This is roster rule for the franchised teams so it's different from the challengers league. Riot should definitely unify the rules so all those imports problems doesn't occur. (i.e. in case teams with 2 imports like 2023 scarz wins ascension)
wdym rules on the quota?
vct 2024 roster construction rules
Regional Representation.
"Each VCT Participating Team will be assigned
to a League. In order to encourage the training and development of players
in each League Territory and to maintain the regional identity of the VCT
Participating Teams that compete in a global competition and to encourage
the type of regional identification that is important to fans and sponsors,
each Team must maintain on the Starting Roster (as defined below), at all
times during the Season, at least four (4) Team Members who are
Residents (as defined below) of a country in the applicable League
Territory. The Leagues of the VCT are: (i) Americas, (ii) Europe, Middle
East and Africa (“EMEA”), (iii) Asia-Pacific (“Pacific”), and (iv) China.
The countries inside each of these geographic regions are a “League
Territory”."
It's funny cuz a lot of these teams used to have academy teams which they have stopped since it's more convenient to just get imports rather than developing their talents. Only very few teams now have academy teams to develop talents.
Tenzou is a really talented player and if he wasn't picked by scarz he would've gone to another team in vcj without a doubt. Also, I wouldn't mind scarz having bunch of "imports" so long as they could represent japan (since they are half). Plus seeing non-korean imports in this region is pretty fresh and nice to see. Riot could reduce the number of imports to 1, which in this case other teams are going to have to reduce the korean imports to 1 as well.
Loose regulation my ass yotaaa and yoshiii are half japanese. The eligibility is based on nationality and not whether they speak japanese or not. Both lumo and tixx have been playing at the bottom of tier 2 scene in asia (lumo in japan/china, tixx in india/oce). Also if they are tier 1 imports why are they not playing in franchised teams? You are just mad that fennel lost to scarz.
if you can't beat the team with bunch of tier2 imports in your own regional, then you are not winning ascension either.
Their coach thought they are TH and also got tennn for clout just to waste their career.
Fire the coach or disband the team. Send syota to franchised team.
AKame's 4k reminds me of Jremy's ace on haven
Ok but absol is absolutely insane.
eh I'm not sure about brian. Hals or clz or even kids from riddle are better.
Save thiefy please.
different day. they will do MRSH vs FL
Too easy for vorz
Dep said on stream that if zeta picks up duelist he's willing to switch role so syota on duelist would be more suitable (syota hates playing smoke too). Aace smoke and clz on flex might be the best roles.
Oh nah riddle aim diffed fennel so hard. Aace and yatsuka are just too good
Holy shit Aace you are the goat
Ignore the haters and stay strong my goat. I've been watching you since the BB days I know what you are capable of
When will this region realize well-structured 5 jp is better than teams with imports.
Did they actually lose the sunset game stats
That is what i'm sayingggggg. He was killing it on duelists on split 1. He's consistently top fragging in smokes as well. I'm pretty certain they can role swap without problem.
It's good to see that japan now has actual young talents that they have invested in 2 years ago. All the Japanese players in this match are from academy teams.
Tenzou and Yoshi masterclass as always.
My boy Aace is killing it. I hope caedye picks up as well. They are all talented individally
Tenzou supremacy
I'm genuinely surprised by the scarz's ability to pick up such great yet underrated players from other teams and regions. First was yoshiii and now tixx and yotaa. Rosterwise its even or crest favor but I am certain both teams would qualify if they are in good shape.
Yeeesssssss..... LONG WAITED VICTORY!!!!!
It genuinely looks so fun at the venue. I wish I could go
Need Kr1stal back since he's FA. Get better duelist from korea and replace allen/tempura with someone like art.
Japan is unironically better than sg at least in t2. Now that jingg is gone to national service (sad) there is only 2 sg player in franchise as well. It's just dfm giving bad impression and jp tends to spread their talents across different teams rather than making a superteam like last years bleed.
Just build around tenzou and yoshiii... These two deserves better. Bring back Kr1stal and add two more players.
Yuran masterclass. No experience in competitive scene not even tier 2 before playing in pacific league and do well
they dont got igl tho. neth can igl but the quality of igling is not good
Holy shit anthem actually needs to get fired. Meiy and others trying to carry and this guy just throws
ぶっちゃけdfm相手にこれだけできればかなり上出来。負けたラウンドも人数有利武器有利を捨ててるラウンドばっかりだったしちょっと上達すれば2勝ぐらいできる
Role issue, and it seems like ssees does better than popogachi.
that's what im saying. Most of the rounds they lost/threw are due to small mistakes and flashback completely stomping gunfights. If they trade better it should be even closer or better yet a map win
DFM unironically not bad at all. Like they do have some sloppy execution and small mistakes and throwing advantages, but other than that, its not bad. Even the rounds they lose, it's not all that bad.
zeta always start slow and sloppy especially dep and sugarzero. Should be better in split1. They said they need some time and not looking for immediate success as well.
zeta's macro and execution are still sloppy, but also zeta is slow starter soooo
Misaya needs to step up for real or he's getting fired. Like he never improved mechanically nor his igling. Now that art is in sengoku there's no reason to keep him
Thank god they got a win.
he is headcoach for that team. I'm pretty sure noppo doesn't really do any actual "coaching" especially in terms of macro.
He declined offer from both zeta and dfm. CLZ declined as well iirc. He said he wanted to win ascension with fennel
