Dont get me wrong. sean and mikes coaching is amazing, and probably the biggest reason 100T is even doing anything. However, the team comps just seem so dull. It all seems like the most generic comps, and dont seem to be playing into their own strengths like Asuna being an amazing raze, etc. Take optic, NRG, and TSM how they just have comps that best fits THEM. I just feel like I'm watching last patches valorant with no new ideas.

I think this is most shocking to me because in strats / ideas they seem to be cooking it up. But it in terms of team comps it just seems so basic and one dimensional and I feel like they could really be innovative.

Just by stats alone, 100T looked the best in NA during this weeks groups games. +15 on what was considered to be the favorites in their group. I think they have potential to go 5-0, but I'm very certain they can qual to playoffs. Especially if they keep this upwards trend (and theres no signs of it stopping)

100t will make playoffs, and have a deep run in playoffs. They could POTENTIALLY, qualify to masters (This is under the assumption they keep getting better as quick as they are now, not saying they qual in their current form). The thing that’s impressive is just how quickly they are fixing their mistakes from knights, to open qual 1, to open qual 2. All players have star moments and every player / staff is hungry to win and they don’t seem to be slowing down.

One thing seangares was saying when building the roster is he didn’t want to have a weak map. We knew their split and fracture was good, but now their icebox and breeze look great too. And with more time to have a 7/7 map pool, where you aren’t perma banning maps is really dangerous.

They’re still so young, so there’s still so much more strats to add, and chemistry to be built which is scary.

I love 100t but how tf is winning both the maps you won 14-12 and dropping a map 3-13 convincing.

gotta be one of the most underrated moves. He joins faze and they instantly find success. They only lost 1 series so far when he joined. Had an upper bracket run to qualify for groups.

It also important to note that Valorant is a game not necessarily about individual skill, but more about hard work and team work. Think back to Sentinels. A team of t2 csgo pros dominating valorants first international LAN. That was when they scrimmed often, and had the best teamwork. Theyre still as mechanically skilled now as they were then but theirwork ethic therefore performance has decreased. Take a look at the guard, a bunch of seemingly t2 players who scrimmed 12 hours a day and mesh well together. One of the best parts of the guard is their ability to get better after every loss. Lost in the open quals of vct? They qual through lower bracket. Lose to c9 in groups? beat them in playoffs. Lose to optic? Beat them in grand finals. And i think thats due to small egos, young/ moldable players, and an amazing coach. And that seems to be the style 100t is going for. Young(ish) players who want to grind and be better and the goal to win, with an experienced coaching staff to back it up. Sure they may lose to start but i truly believe theres a vision and they will only get better after every loss.

I’d assume just have Will flex to chamber considering he’s such a talented awper. I’d see no reason why you wouldn’t have Asuna on raze every chance you could get, seeming as he’s probably one of the best NA has to offer. It also helps that every map raze is viable chamber is also the best sentinel.

Asuna - Finally on flex. Everyone saying he would be the best flex NA and now he can prove himself to be. Can fully focus on rifling and explosive entry fragging, not have to worry about awping.

Bang - prob 100ts most impactful player from its former roster. Was playing smokes / duelist for TSM but actually showed a lot of promise on Astra. Now being able to most likely play fulltime smokes, 100t will have a consistent high fragging controller

Will - cracked jett awp that 100t has been needing, seems easily coachable with room to grow

Stellar - Experienced IGL on soar and lg, high fragging sentinel always making good plays. Will get heavy buffed from coaching staff

Derrek - cracked sova, so much fire power and intelligent

This team kinda reminds me of the guard, a group of moldable players coming together backed by a highly intelligent and experienced coaching staff. Oldest on the team being stellar whos 25. The fire power is unmatched and I think has the potential to be the most fragging team NA. And with an experienced player like Seangares, and mikeshd (who coached optic to their most notable achievement, being 2nd in berlin) could really help with the small errors this team will face. Asuna was talking about how much theyve been practicing, only having an off day Saturday. Its clear everyone on the roster and behind the scenes is hungry to win and thats crucial.

Its still early. They started scrimming again on monday so could be a week with Will, a week with Ethan, see what works. Testing different rosters in scrims they have a couple weeks to decide. and i could be wrong but in all the clips/pictures of their scrims being leaked i havent seen them winning once lmfao

is there any hope for Ethan to stay on 100T? Reports been saying stellar and derrek are close to signing and Will is unknown. So does that imply they still arent sure about ethan, having asuna not on primary duelist, etc

I mean, its been less than a week. 100T may not even be scrimming at the moment. And i doubt they would announce a roster a week after he left TSM. It took months for them to announce BabyJ and Ec1s. We just got jcStani announcement days ago, Sean gares barley 2 weeks

Realistically, the only map where KJ is favored over chamber is Ascent, and even on that map its not that big of a deal. On the 6 other maps I'd argue chamber is the best sentinel. Keep in mind wardell also plays sage which teams have been running on ascent, or he could play jett, or they could just run chamber. And if chamber ends up out of meta I guess Wardell would move to jett/sage, and asuna would be the flex. Who knows though
