1) enemies can easily avoid you
2) you're taking forced engagements that usually favor the enemy way more
3) you have to start it from angles that can easily be punished

with kayo for example, you can instantly die and still have huge teamwide impact. majority of the time phoenix gets close to no value
the only redeeming factor is the short orb cost

Lakia is an amazing player and was nuturns star, but his skill is very comparable to the other VS members. they’re all very close in mechanics and agent mastery

so why is he here? I feel that they brought him on as a last resort, if one of the players wasn’t in good condition etc. also as a strategic ploy, if vs run with him in some scrims they can trick the other teams into preparing for the wrong roster.

i can see him coming in for bind as VS have intended on doing so for a while now, but don’t think they’re actually “hiding him” as a secret weapon. hope this makes sense
