Any game is enjoyable f2p and any content is possible to do f2p, if u invest enough time and have the skill. If we compare genshin and wuwa (wuthering waves), then you could say, that the combat in wuwa is far more complex and challenging, since you can parry, perfect dodge attacks and more variety of echoes ("pets"), that can do different stuff. There are a lot of streamers, also big ones, that just stay f2p, or have 2 accounts, 1 f2p, 1 whale and both look enjoyable.
And in this game, the main character is actually really strong, if u beat the story in 1.0.
Main characters in this game always get a new "element" after progressing in the story, and u can switch them up how you like. Wuwa also gives out a lot of free stuff, free 5 star characters (highest rarity).

Is a lot different, than genshin imo. And it's not like genshin invented this genre, this typa game. Wuwa def has the potential to be more successfull, if they can keep and get a higher playerbase. A lot of genshin players just don't stop playing, coz they invested a lot of time and maybe money into it, thinking it would go to waste.
Having echoes and being to do different stuff with them is really a breath of fresh air.

yeah I'm UL38 and it annoys me kinda, that I have bad luck with echo drops with 50 50 chance. Feels like I'm at 30 70 gold purple. Started a bit late, coz the game couldn't let me play. Everytime I did dash, game froze for 2 sec. So I didn't play the first 1-2 weeks

echo grinding in terms of farming them is fine imo, like you get rewarded for playing the game. The wall comes in, coz you can't lvl up a lot of them, or tune them, since you don'T get much echo exp in the game.

Yeah there is for sure not enough to do, but that is first due to the function to skip most of dialogue and people just hard grinding the game for hours. Waveplate or echo system in general needs a change for sure. I haven't done a single tacet field, coz it looks like a waste of waveplate. I currently have 4 5 stars, but I didn't use my ticket yet for free 5 star and I have 15k astrite over (I got lucky with jiyan and his weapon in 4 multis together and currently 60 pity). I really like the diversity in combat and the challenge with hologram.
