C9 flawless group stage into undefeated playoffs then win champs
I think boostio IGLing is great. If he worked on his individual form 100T could've done really well. However we do not want him or need him.
RobbieBK
Aspas
Pancada
Crashies
Zander
figure out roles later
he needs to grind ranked and work on his individual form
dude hasn't been radiant in 10 acts
EG boostio? or is it over for him
I actually was talking to some friends literally last week saying -boostio, bring in firepower and move Zander to IGL would be a good move over the off season, but Its just hard to be confident in this move when he hasn't called for the entire season and has had little to no prep time. I'd be happy to see him prove me wrong though. Don't have faith they'll beat an in form NRG
Yeah, it makes sense as a change if they are confident in him.
I'm more concerned with Zander igl
ngl I don't think this was the move
zander igling with little to no prep
unproven t2 talent coming in
NRG are going to stomp them
im all for more fire power and Zander IGL but it should've been in the off season
The main worry is zander IGL. They have had really low time to prep for stage 2 with zander igling. Boostios calls were always really good. I feel like this is a move better suited for the off season
Zander 1 week of prep for igl after not igling for a whole season
vs
Greatest what if of valorant history (what if FaZe made franchising and won every event babybay MVP)
Absolutely no chance 100T with KESS and Zander igling beat NRG
greatest day of your life. Lets go BABYBAY...
True. But c9 wins champs
AMERICAS: C9
EMEA: M8
APAC: Talon
CHINA: FPX
keep talking about the soon to be champs 2025 MVP
lets go shahz!
G2 Esports has announced a major roster shake-up ahead of VCT Americas Stage 2. Nathan “leaf” Orf, who joined G2 earlier this year after his stint as a Sentinel player for Cloud9, will step away from competitive play due to ongoing health concerns. Replacing him is none other than Maxim “demon1” Mazanov, the player widely regarded as “the king of hell” after his meteoric 2023 run.
Leaf’s journey has been one of adaptability and evolution. Originally known as a Duelist prodigy on Cloud9, he transitioned into a Sentinel role to fill the team’s needs, showcasing a deeper understanding of the game’s macro play. Since signing with G2, he had begun to reassert himself as a versatile backbone for the roster, offering stability in clutch situations and sharp reads on enemy rotations. Unfortunately, persistent health issues have forced him to step down, leaving G2 with a critical gap to fill before Stage 2 begins.
To fill that void, G2 has turned to the only player capable of shaking the entire region: demon1.
Demon1’s name became synonymous with dominance during his time with Evil Geniuses, where he spearheaded their unforgettable run to win Champions Los Angeles in 2023, earning Finals MVP honors in the process. His fearless mechanics and ice-cold confidence made him one of the most feared Duelists in the game. After a brief hiatus from the pro scene, his return has been surrounded by heavy speculation, with multiple top-tier teams reportedly vying for his signature.
By signing demon1, G2 has made their ambitions clear — they’re not just looking to compete; they’re looking to reign. However, the move also shifts the team’s balance dramatically. Leaf’s controlled playstyle as a Sentinel often tempered G2’s aggression, while demon1 thrives in chaos, taking over rounds through sheer mechanical dominance. How G2 integrates the “king of hell” into their existing structure could define the rest of their season.
G2 will debut their new lineup in just four days against Sentinels, a match that now carries even more intrigue.
G2 Esports’s updated roster is now:
Shahzeb “ShahZaM” Khan
Michael “neT” Bernet
Jacob “valyn” Batio
Trent “trent” Cairns
Maxim “demon1” Mazanov
With demon1 stepping into the server, the king of hell has returned — and the VCT Americas may never be the same again.
I forgot about that too lol, idk wtf they're doing
their split comp from stage 1 playoffs always made me angry
tsm has some of the worst comps I've ever seen on several maps
I agree, but benjy was definitely top 5 of 2024
I think Benjy could be top 5 sentinels of the past two years
Meteor, Leaf, Alfajer, Benjy, CHICHOO?
Waylay,
Phoenix,
Brimstone,
Chamber,
Tejo
BEST COMP!!!
sentinels are cooked with these changes
-abyss (comps have always been uninspired, always looked bad)
-corrode (no faith because this map is large, and they are historically bad at large maps like breeze and abyss)
-bind (1-13)
and SEN lost their pearl and split...
it goes hard either way because g2 already made champs and it'll be entertaining to watch demon1 play in an actual good system again
yea, if SEN managed to win it or maybe even NRG it would've been a prestigious event IMO
GLAD pacific will not be winning another trophy
they are no Bren and sideshow but I like them
tombizz right
they are great they need to have them deeper in internationals
EWC was super prestigious until SEN and NRG were eliminated. After that I realized its mickey mouse af
Incredible move for 100T burger boyz are definitely better than Cryo EEIU asuna Zander and boostio
riot Lowkey does the same shit
?? Im a sen fan and I have them losing to FNC (UNLIKELY!)
U should be happy I let BBL upset TH
yea I mean 100T would've made it out of any other group, unlucky
