there can be multiple interpretation of the rules but they should stick to one method of judging all 4 teams in a consistent manner which is def possible using map diff
so segregating rrq using map diff and then ignoring map diff for the rest 3 teams right?
I know what they did is within the rule book , but it puts teams like NS in an unfair position.
why is there a need to narrow the teams when it's easier and more fair to use map/round diff
https://www.vlr.gg/476826/pacific-playoffs/#2
I had the same doubt yesterday, not sure why they had to seperate rrq as 1st and use different method to rank the rest three teams
Jawgemo Is way overrated, he's only good because he has world class teammates backing him up to success. Any other duelist can do what he's doing
If you are looking at it with entirely nihilistic pov , then yes it is pointless and does not matter. But on the bright side , it is what gives meaning to people's lives even though the life is short lived
and NS being 4th despite beating rrq and having better record than TLN n T1 makes sense?
He's pretty average as a duelist, I'm talking about players who's teams are dragging them down
it's not that hard bro just do the map diff (round diff in case of tie breaker) and stop overcomplicating stuff
invy ( please get him a better team)
vookashu
Lux ho
Pancada
Flor
Forsaken
Krystal
Meiy
westside
slowly
who would be the replacement tho?
I see them making gf but not winning it
that's not the point, either way sticking with a single basis to decide the 4 way tie breaker should be the priority, not just separating the 1st seed using map diff and then using h2h to decide the rest 3
I'm looking at this like
Rrq +3 map diff (clear 1st seed)
Ns nd t1 both +1 map diff but NS 2nd cos better round diff
Tln +0 map diff so 4th
are you taking about tln or rrq?
Rrq lost to Ns right?
This format just doesn't make sense....if u r using map diff as basis just place them according to the map differential right? If rrq beat all the other 3 teams then it would make sense to place them 1st but they lost to NS
so they just decided rrq is 1st based on map diff and then used h2h for the other three? Doesn't make sense right
It's a 4 way tie already so just based on map diff Rrq>>ns>T1>tln
can someone explain how is TLN 2nd not NS? They released the pickems already so I guess it's finalized
and the 3rd team's 1-4 who's only win is against another brazil team which is 0-5 š
No way he dropped 52 map 1 still lost the map š
they going straight to lowers either way
praying to se g2 vs heretics gf to see who throws harder
they don't even need the 10 rounds, they can loose 2-0 and still secure 1st
yeah might be it. but in case rrq loose its a 4 way tie meaning TLN 4th and NS 2nd
how is NS in 4th place in liquipedia? No matter if rrq win or lose they are 1st seed regardless. NS is still +1 map diff the same as t1 but with better round diff
technically not a rookie , he played last year too
yeah just like the goat flor is stuck with apeks
depends on how bad rrq loses , would come down to round differential
Priority in eSports should be winning not being flashy and entertaining
EDG unlikely to qualify this time , trace or drg can take the 3rd spot
Rrq will def choke the playoffs , would take drx over them
Emea is all right
It's a coin flip between sen and kru ( might be kru) since c9 are c9
