They were a really popular org and well fund as well, but it wouldn't mean they were a stable org. If by organization comparison Detonation certainly will be more favorable as they history as a team and their good relationship with riot.
as quoted by riot "Organizations who build for the long-term, with a focus on sustainability"

I don't think that was the case, they literally have a month to review their paper. it's certainly another factor we are not aware of.

Hoping only for 3 KR org tough. That 1 spot better go elsewhere.

The reality is JP region esports scene is not fully develop yet. Certainly, riot would not want to risk it. Them getting 2 spots is the best outcome I would say.

If KR org decide to open academy team they undoubly will fill it with korean player as it better for their region on long term. And sooner or later all that 5 KR org will capable to run full korean teams. On top of that running full korean team will be cheaper for those org.

The problem is riot favor KR way too much that its literally giving other region no room to grow.

love me some Linkin park, babymetal, and rammstein

I feel bad for laz man, 27 years old and still carrying their scene.

posted about a year ago

It would, but certainly not in an insane amount. FPS game in general is not popular in Korea. If they could average 20k~30k after franchising, it would be good enough to bring in some big sponsors.

posted about a year ago

That is exactly the problem. Being the oldest in the team and doing all small things to help the team. Yet, he still needs to carry them. Give that guy a break.

I dont get why they dont let xdll play. Even if they lost with him, at least we could see his potential.

Yeah. but it's not right to expect guys like Laz still carrying their asses. The youngster supposed to be delivering more. One way or another they need another starplayer.

posted about a year ago

Why are they not bringing them in ? A player like TEN is certainly not cut it anymore. Guy like dep and Sugarz3ro is not consistent enough. Even crow considers replaceable at this point.

Is there truly no upcoming starplayer in japan ? Why are 27-old guys like Laz still carrying their scene? where is the new blood?

posted about a year ago

When 27 old Laz is still the best player japan could offer. Then, JP region has a huge problem in long term.

2 weeks until Champions begin. Why rito not announced it yet?

Franchising is not prioritizing who is the better team, instead, they pick stable org with the most funds. Most fund org can buy out a roster of team you said. In fact, they can offer them a better salary

Looking fair i would say.

Looooolll. Nth just freaking walk on site with no care. The skill gap is huge here.

posted about a year ago

They not toxic on other team outside of japan. But their toxicity in between fans in the local team is crazy

Kotonoha no niwa

Team wise they still do. The loss they have is pretty much just meteor doing crazy stuff, nothing they can do about it.

posted about a year ago

NTH is to reliance on meteor having good game to win a map, which why i doubt they could pull Zeta run. Zeta last master is pretty much team effort.

We need agent that ult can cancel other agent skill. Big solution to counter agent with OP ult like chamber and viper, instead of just nerving them which take away the agent gameplay.

When neth is carrying the game, CR not gonna win. They need good allrounder player in the future. Dep is the only good allrounder player in JP i can think of, hopefully there is another gem like him in jp region.

Another choke by FAV, their defense is shit.

Classic Zeta game. just trailing from behind to take the w, they are so good at it

posted about a year ago

The current format is good for viewership i think. They still trying to build the scene slowly. I do think they will change it when the scene have been established enough.

RC vs CR were the most anticipated one.

Reading through this, its still didnt make sense why its only 15k. Rage and First Strike is allow to have 50k prize pool. Unless I miss some important point in the article

posted about a year ago

That only for establish org.

posted about a year ago

If its truth is, that shitty law I must say.

posted about a year ago

Wtf

posted about a year ago

Why they only had $15k ? Vietnam and Philippines actually had bigger prize pool. Considering viewership JP bring it didnt make sense.

Zeta has that anime awakening plot in them. The improvement they had this tournament is absurd.
