Are the teams going to make subs between maps? And is there a way for them all to scrim before the tournament while they play in the leagues?

they have to scrim, they are repping their country. a lot of them are proud to rep their country. and some teams have players that haven't played in a while. like Tenz and Marved on Canada.

yeah, it's alot about scheduling with tier 1 players. I feel like the top nations don't have time to scrim because they have players in all the major competitions.

you're talking about getting elimed from EWC? I'm thinking about the people in the VCT not being able to scrim because they have to play for their contracted team.

Id imagine teams without tier 1 and 2 players should scrim alot for this. Could make all the difference to qualify for a tournament like this
