One word. Complacent.
I miss him tho he brought a personality to the team however it was. Now Cryo and Asuna just put their heads down staring at the monitor.
Its what having asuna on the team does to an mf, like just look at almost all of the other igl's that have been on 100T and where they are now.
Before asuna he was one of the best fragging igl's and then as soon as he started playing with asuna his performances started declining.
But being serious, the actual reason is most likely because 100T comps had him either playing off meta agents or agents he was uncomfortable on. The meta's themsleves haven't really been great for him recently either. It also seemed like him, Xander, and ziks had disagreements about the team which probably also effected his performance. Also when he was on eg, his entire team was very vocal and gave a lot of input in the midrounds which probably allowed for him to focus more on the macro side of things than micro managing his entire team like it seemed he did with 100T.
he also went through a lot of stuff irl. zikz confirmed that boostio's likely not returning to val
damn thats actually really sad then. another world champ we wont see again o7 piggy
at least he left his mark on the val culture :) not many players can say the same
He did get a little demotivated, but his long-time gf and him also broke up around the time 100T went to Shanghai and he def also went through some personal changes too.
Lot of diff factors, and it never worked in his favor. Hopefully he comes back soon tho.
if i’m not mistaken they broke up around EWC and they bombed out immediatly from groups
