Old Sen vs New Sen

What is everyone's thoughts on the old sentinels with Zombs on smokes and Sick on Flex vs Sick on smokes and Kanpeki on Flex? No hate to anyone, but I personally think the previous sentinel comp was better due to the fact that Zombs played a pivotal role in organizing the team as a unit.

They are the same team since the day 1 everyone around them grew and got better they still the old sen

Not taking kanpeki in consideration here

Obivously this team is super new, but I do think it would have been more valuable to keep the team chemistry and focus on other matters first.

I think it is a tiny marginal boast to the firepower of the team, but doesn't actually fix the core issue of the team which wasn't firepower.

honestly shahzam and tenz should both retire and go onto streaming. sick and kanpeki are the only ones who should stick to pro play. at this point i think tenz should retire cuz he really is ruining his reputation as a tier 1 player

I disagree on Tenz. I think just like sayaplayer or other duelist, you can't pass up on the opportunity to unlock their fragging prowess and carry potential. As for Shahzam, I don't really know, he's been severely under performing and that could change.

you're right, huge opportunity for streaming but "ruining his rep as a T1 pro" is just untrue. anyone that watches the games and thinks TenZ is embarrassing himself must be watching a different game than i am. TenZ and Sick playing well is the only thing keeping them afloat rn

I think that opportunity to stream is always going to be there. He has a niche personality and a lot of people like him. However, for competitive play, this is probably going to be one of the better teams he plays with in his career, so I don't think he should quit quite yet as the roster still has global talent.

I think its just that Zombs was such an unstoppable force on defense. Ive said it for so long and no one seemed to see it but now that they lost him their defense is looking like it doesnt even exist. The entire team crumbled when they lost that pillar in zombs. I honestly believed he was one of the best controllers in the world and this just proves it. I would be all for a zombs return to the team with a reinvigorated appreciation for each others roles and with a new motivation. I think they'd easily get back to top 8
