If the next masters are the last international events before champs, what will the teams from the regional leagues be playing for? They can't qualify for masters 2 now (as far as I understand) so are they going to compete for spots in LCQ maybe? Is it known yet?

I think Fokus and BIG can but the other teams (rebels, surreal, smb now) will go back and compete in the regional leagues while the other teams compete in the group stage with m3c, g2, fnc, etc. no? Or is there going to be an open qualifier for them to take a spot?

The other teams play for a 200k price pool VRL playoff if they win their regional championship

They are competing for LCQ spots, and if they do well this year, they get invited to their respective VRL next year (depending on the vrl, like some got more invited teams than others)

i assume open qualifiers for the main challengers event are getting fully removed? and new teams will have to qualify through VRL qualifiers, so stage 2 VRL winners this year will get immediate spots in next years VRL? not sure

Just like in LoL where the top ERL teams get to play in European Masters same thing for VALORANT. There’s going to be a VRL EMEA Finals where top teams from each league play against eachother.

i hope the same that riot wouls make VRL EMEA finals , then the top 2 (or top 4) from that finals will go to the promotion stage.

So like it was now? There wont be any promotion next split. It’s just a tournament to see who’s the best regional team in EMEA.

I guess vrl teams will play again then top teams will compete for promotion vct challanger stage 1 next year, otherwise i think it will be great if top team from each league can compete in lcq.
