JP and KR in Reykjavik

Why they not have top seed teams? I have no idea ab the format of masters

Honestly idk why. The teams that’s were put in playoffs are supposed to be the most competitive team for the most competitive regions. Although loud could be better then drx right now, Korea had better results last year, hence could be called “more competitive” region. But it could also be Latam filling in since latam had better results than Korea last year, and Brazil seed 2 beat latam seed 2, so I guess it justifies Brazil getting to bye to playoffs?

I think its about the estimated strength of the region. JP definitely has no chance of having a top seed cuz they consistently perform the worst at every lan (sorry but true), and while KR is much stronger and personally i think DRX is a top seed quality team, the region just hasn't proven it on international stage statistically (low placements) while other regions like LATAM/SA and SEA/APAC have gotten better placements

next time should be 1 slot for KR and 1 slot lcq for KR+JP
