applying for apprenticeship and have never had a (real) job, i have good HS grades. i was a tutor for math and physics but it was like a fake business, cash only payment and shit. for 2 years however idk how that will help.

you're better off going to a hotel bar on a weekday and finding someone in sales and becoming friends. then you will get a job from them.

or if not going into sales go into any local pub / bar and befriend someone with influence.

applying through transactional portals is not the play and has no advantage.

Nobody expect a HS student to have a "real" job afaik. Extra curricular activities that related to the job you're applying might help. If you have someone credible (teacher, supervisor, .etc) to vouch for your skill or write a referral will improve your chance a lot
