Ik Gambit is a state owned org but the roster is top 3 in the world and they are not allowed to play why wont riot allow gambit to compete under a different name like the olympics (ROC)

Because Gambit players and staff are contracted by Gambit per se. So they are tied to Gambit.

Probably because of the terms in the player's contracts and/or vp flexibility on the matter.
It's probably on Gambit to let their players play under a different name. If they don't let it happen, it will never happen. Or at least until their contracts expire.

What would change, tho? They would be still under the same organization. This won't change anything under Riot's eyes.
