I can't stress enough that this is not "internet speed".

These tests are run under lab environments keeping as close to ideal conditions as possible and between two very finely tuned pieces of hardware.

They don't even transfer data from the internet. It's just test data sent from one system to the other. Your normal PC could not possibly decode that much information fast enough.

This speed is not practically realisable as well as the fact that internet speed is mutual between your PC and the server. i.e. the download/upload speed will be the lower end of the two. No server in the world can practically provide such huge amounts of data.

Given all of this, yes it is the fastest network link in the world.

These tech articles are written by people with 0 qualifications. They should put at least a little bit of effort before writing such bullshit.

It is impressive and definitely, the engineers behind it used the proper words and terms.

Too bad that tech journalism is just so bad nowadays that people writing these articles don't even have the knowledge of a simple undergraduate degree.
