The entire rule book needs to be changed. Why the fuck does a rule exist where “if damage was done, a rollback won’t happen”. Its like if u take 1 damage from a random wall bang and then ur computer crashes, riot wont restart

These stupid ass rules are preventing good games from getting even better, i just dont understand riot’s logic in these rules

imagine losing 14-12 and you run into a bug where your monitor starts blue screening but its a 1v1 and theres nothing that can be done genuinely frustrating asf

Yup, hoping for this stuff to be fixed in 2027 because there really are some hella frustrating rules, though it’ll probably get worse in open qualifiers next year and more drama
will form

its kinda important rule as a lot of minor bugs happen that people try to call rollbacks for, such as lets say, the vyse wall glitches the opponent to the other side. but I do agree it should be changed that it should be on a round by round basis or allow for interference based on judgement

i dont think by damage means a single bullet damage or something, but like some plays has been made or smth

The problem is in order for this rule to be changed it needs to come with a solution to case by case scenarios. So, it would be up to a tournament organizer to decide if it's a roll back or not. That could also lead to even more controversy, as this was an easy call that riot fucked up, but imagine a situation in the future that isn't quite as decisive and easily decided.

I feel like the default should be that rule and then an admin can choose to delibrate which would be the same as the "game breaking bug" issue
