Why are there such big region gaps in skill. Like I would instantly think of funding to the teams but China invests the most into their teams capital wise I believe. Also similar to Korea isn't esports very ingrained into the culture there?

its not really about funding but talent of the staff besides the players, like coaches, managers, analysts, ect because u can see on edg that they do not know what theyre doing with their comps that the players defenitely have something to say about
Yea completely and its so weird that China finishes their stage so quickly and has so much time to analyze these regions like Amer and Pac that are clearly ahead of them and seem to either not do it or completely fail at it
