comeback could definitely be good in the right situation, i think you’re just tunnel visioning on his time in TH/NAVI
hes a strong awper that has terrible english (so needs a turkish team), and he was their best player all thru t2
look at lovers rock, he was great at kickoff when he could farm outlaw/yoru, terrible in stage 1 when he had to rifle/neon, and then good again in stage 2 when he could abuse scoped guns - comeback is basically just the evolution of that
why sign a player who is bad with rifles i but good with op when most players are just good at both? its such a unstable concept, and has never really worked out in the long run. Like people were saying about comeback "just give him an op and he will be insane" for 2 years now and he has never proven that to be true. So much better talent out there.
i think the argument is that BBL aren't likely to make partnership, so they don't have access to the top end of turkish talent (hiro, alfa, ruxic etc), he's already performed to a high level inside of their system (so they think he could do it again), and he has a higher ceiling/potential than basically anyone they could get. problem is his floor is just lower
