I said "Winning a trophy as the best player on your team matters a lot" and it got 4 downvotes, which is very confusing because its an obviously true statement.

Imagine if Demon1 wasn't the best player on EG 2023, his legacy would be completely different
Imagine if LeBron wasn't the best player on his championship teams
Imagine if Messi wasn't the best player on Barcelona when they won 4 Champions Leagues

Everyone on the team wins the trophy, but being the BEST PLAYER on the team is a completely different story then just winning, it matters a fuck ton for legacy and all-time rankings
