T1 and Gen. G should come back to Korea

There are plenty of orgs willing to sign the players on their rosters and T1 and Gen. G haven't had much success - even regional success. If they move back to Korea they'll have a better chance of regional success and international competitions - this would also help catalyse growth and interest in the Korean valorant scene and maybe influence players into playing for domestic teams instead of moving to other regions (NA and especially JP).

you wont realise this, but Korea is much weaker(and has been historically) in shooters, but are godly at MOBAs and RPG games. So they're better off investing in NA than KR for Val

nah, korea was good in 1.6 (lunatic hai, wemade fox) but they unfortunately played counter strike online when csgo came in and fell behind when it came to international competition, and afaik in ow there are alot of talents in kr

They have always had the best mechanical players for Overwatch, have some of the best Apex Legends players (Ras & Selly), won the first PUBG world cup, and in 1.6 their teams were pretty good - especially so considering they had 0 scrim partners and Tac FPS infrastructure.
Fun fact: Solo, Peri, Glow, and ARGENCY were all CS 1.6 players who did pretty damn well considering their geographical, technical, and financial limitations.

True - but both orgs have a big influence over Korean gaming. It's possible they would attract more interest into Val, especially because the scene is slowly growing here.

All of that just to get beat by Drx & even for only 1 slot?

If Nuturn and F4Q could beat DRX there's a good argument that a real tier 1 org like T1 or Gen.G could. C9 Korea were on their way to doing it.

Why would they leave when Valorant is going to get franchised in NA = more money, more viewers, more sponsors

I think Korea would need to have a bigger playerbase before T1 and GenG decide to transfer. They should also catch up to DRX first.

On the lighter side, dd8 to Korea pog!
