have fun

know many players aim to play games like this just to be better and rank up; some wish to rank up to plat, others diamond, others immortal and some others wish to be radiant at some point
hell some of you surely wanna be pro, it looks like a dream

just make sure that along your day playing valorant, you never forget youre gaming, and the whole purpose of it, aside from improving individually as a player, is to have fun
the moment you stop having fun because you're too invested in just winning, you'll start to get burnt out and you'll eventually feel like you need a break

tldr; touch grass unlike me

great post but I can't help it when I am top fragging every game on duelist and my team is throwing by the minute. If I would have duo queued I would have been diamond by now. tired of being map mvp every game and not winning. sometimes I have to take this anger out on teammates like these

its very understandable, and i understand the frustration, losing streaks or games that woulve been easily won had you had better synergy/communication/teammates are discouraging, but at the end of the day, as long as you try and have some fun you'll be malding a lot less and probably feel better about yourself
see it doesnt really help anybody within a team to start cussing/flaming/blaming at each other for being better or worse, it just makes you angry or frustrated

so try and aim to have more fun rather than to win more games, you'll find yourself enjoying your time much more, since you're finding a hard time to climb up the ladder for whatever reason it is, it is better to spend that journey happy rather than mad

id recommend taking a break from valo, since being burnt out causes u to just lose your passion for the game.

i 100% agree with you, it happened back in csgo and many other games, where you just wanna aim to be the very best player you could possibly be, and focus too much on results rather than on improving along the way and enjoying the process
end up feeling frustrated because "i am not progressing towards X goal"

i dont think setting goals aroudn your rank is healthy for you as a player, id recommend setting goals that dont revolve around a number and a symbol, maybe like trying to learn a new agent, experiment with lurking, try to call for your team

exactly this, setting goals is the perfect example regarding frustration in competitive gaming
it is not easy to just be better amongst tens of thousands of players, so expecting yourself to be better because you're invested and commited to your cause will make you frustrated whenever you're not progressing towards that goal, so it is just better to try and enjoy your time while you're there, improvements come along (as long as you try and work them while you're playing)

Same, I am iron even though I deserve Radiant
I cannot do everything myself whereas my team can't even set up good executes
I can beat TenZ, OP diff cNed and one tap Asuna but still I am in iron

Have fun ??? The phrase "have fun" is such a weak mindset. You are ok with what happened, losing, imperfection of a craft. When you stop getting angry after losing, you've lost twice
There's always something important to learn, and always room for improvement, never settle

I'll never understand how pro Valorant players just... miss shots. I feel like there has to be pools of pro players who can just click on their heads and hit every shot with 100% accuracy, just seems so SILLY.
