It’s more like when you love a girl for so long but she keeps cheating on you, each time you forgive her but after some time one event makes you snap. London was that event for me, it’s common in sports that fans give up on a team. Don’t be a guy that keeps dating a girl that cheats on you.
yeah its disheartening that they lost the grand finals but look at the bright side they became second. They are always consistently going top 1-4 in international events. You could look at the positive side and say hey second place is not bad if we maintain this consistency we will win

You are prioritizing the negative issue here. Fuck the trophy look at fnc now what happened to them. How they dominated the game to not even qualifying to internationals. Someday prx will also share the same fate and we would remember the days where we used to consistently get grand finals. I come from traditional sports so the players aren't the biggest reason i support the team. I will only stop supporting a team if the organization does something inhumane. One team i support is wolves in football and they just got relegated. All my favorite players on that team is gone. Doesn't mean I don't still support the team. Sticking to a team is what makes sports fun, changing just feels wrong man.
That’s a unique perspective. Most people support Norway because of Haaland. Most people support Argentina because of Messi. Blind allegiance to a team regardless of the players is definitely unique. Of course I get what you mean because I know some crazy Chelsea supporters too etc.
