We just saw NRG play Ascent for the first time this year.
It lost them their Bo5 Stage 2 Playoffs against G2.
The comp they ran was:
Brawk - Sova
Mada - Sage
Skuba - Vyse
Ethan - Omen
Keiko - Jett
While Mada played fairly well on the agent, I don't think Sage comps are very good on Ascent.
(They beat Fnatic twice at champs last year when Alfajer was on Sage for example)
I'm hoping this was just an experiment because they've already qualified for London, but this shouldn't stay the comp.
I have 2 ideas that should be way more suited for them. Interested what others think.
Comp #1, just run back what they did last year:
Brawk - Sova
Mada - Jett
Skuba - Vyse
Ethan - Kay/o
Keiko - Omen
Hey, if they really want to keep Keiko on Jett I would understand that.
If that's the case I wonder what Mada would look like swapped over to the Omen role... he plays a pretty mean Harbor already.
Comp #2, lift something from another team with similar meta preferences like Global Esports:
Brawk - Sova
Mada - Jett
Skuba - Vyse
Ethan - Omen
Keiko - Phoenix
Small note here: Skuba is set playing Vyse since he always has been, even since last year...
But he does play a strong Cypher, which has been seeing some play from other teams on this map, so that could be a notable change too.
