if they had no igl on breeze verno would have done better and the whole team would have done better
no offense i get that not everyone is a unemployed bum who play val 24/7 hwoever this is just wrong.
if verno was making all the calls him igling was a detriment to the team. a shit ton of stupid ideas and strategies and overall just being predictable asf.
he's definitely not making all the calls but he is responsible for a pretty big part of the gameplan (if the team is ran like last year), it kinda seems like with enough pressure their structure crumbles and they resort to desperate hero plays, which is more of an overall leadership and chemistry problem than a calling one
the breeze calling and ideas were aboslute dogshit, outrageous scaling, verno had terrible util, terrible setups, 0 coordination, on breeze at least there was a bunch of indidivdual decision making that was terrible aswell.
overall breeze was just embarassing for mibr and genuinly took years of my life from watching it
I wouldn't solely blame Verno just because he's igl. Coaching staff and teammates mid rounding also play a huge part in this. Verno can stay igl, but a secondary caller is needed imo.
yeah fr0d needs to be spoke too aswell because something is wrong especially with the calling and setups and ideas n stuff. like just basica common sense and game knowledge could get better calls. honestly they couldve straight been matchfixing or smth idk but that was just abysmal. if i didnt see the names i would think this is a premeir team from mibr ideas
Big part of that was the execution looking messy due to MIBR not taking fights together. MIBR lack team chemistry and have an inability to play together. I agree, they deadass looked like a tier 2 team. Don't even know how they made playoffs looking like this.
i mean yeah they have slowly crumbled this split, i just think verno has shown enough great calling for me to assume there's other underlying issues
