I mean that's just because they weren't good enough, inherently having to only win a single game to make it to an international compered to at least two is a pretty big advantage, whether a team can make use of that advantage is up to them.
Ig their biggest problems are their map veto, i mean we know their lotus is pretty good, but on all other maps they are like mid
