are you tired of turning flashes too late and always getting hit by them? well here’s some tips to help you out!

  1. Comp - Are you playing against a Phoenix or a Skye? These guys love taking advantage of their intuitive, hard to read flashes. So, just take note that they exist. If you can find out where they’re playing or where they like to play and you’re ready for it, you’ll find yourself turning flashes easier. The same principle applies to KAY/O and Breach, except KAY/O has quite harder flashes and Breach’s flashes are Breach flashes.
  2. Sound - Every flash has an audio cue that gives you some amount of warning. Phoenix’s is kinda BS, Breach’s is free, KAY/O has an audio cue for the bounce, Skye’s flash actually has a sound cue while in motion before it pops. Also, the sound of enemies coming your way. If there is a rush coming toward you, a flash initiator is likely with them. Their duelist will likely be with them. They will flash you.
  3. Context - I already alluded to this, but if you’re in a spot where the agent should or has been known to fight, be ready. If you are in a 1v1 clutch against a Phoenix, assume he will flash you. If you get KAY/O knifed, Skye dogged, shoot a Yoru clone, expect that next layer. If someone flashes you once, assume they’ll flash you twice. Remember that Skye and Phoenix can get them back.
