ok but where are they actually getting lime though. ep isnt just gonna let their import walk, and even if they did that leaves a massive hole in their system. jonahp saved them multiple times last year but youre acting like the meta hasnt completely shifted to duelist heavy. theyre not suddenly bad they just need someone who can play the guns they need right now. penny over jerrwin isnt crazy
idk what youre on about with the 1st part but SEN has reduxx and jerrwin to play double duel, JonahP was the best Flex available and still is doing good on SEN
okay but youre still avoiding the actual problem. they already have two duelists who can cover raze and jett. reduxx flexing between controllers and duelist isnt some wild innovation, teams do that all the time. the issue is that the OP keeps acting like lime is just gonna magically show up on SEN when EP obviously isnt letting that happen without getting something massive back.
and you saying jonahp was the best flex available when he signed is actually proving my point. he was picked up for a reason. dude has the raw mechanics to play the role even if hes not doing flashy highlight plays every round. sometimes the pickup just works and doesnt need a full rebuild around it.
yall are arguing about whether one player is better than another when the real issue is that team hasnt figured out their fundamentals. jerrwin is fine on duelist, johnqt is solid, but theyre getting out-traded and losing crucial rounds because theyre not executing cleanly. swapping players around doesnt fix that. and also lime isnt leaving ep lol thats just not realistic
sen wants to win trophies. obv if u practice ur fundamentals very well, u will do well. but the current team ceiling is too low. I think penny and lime gives sen a higher ceiling
youre right though and the people pushing lime are just fantasizing. ep would never let that happen and even if they somehow did sen would have gutted their own depth to fix one role. the real issue is sen keeps trying to patch cracks instead of actually changing how they play. jonahp isnt the problem, jerrwin isnt the problem, reduxx flexing isnt the problem. its that every time they lose they just want to swap one guy out and call it fixed. thats not how it works
hold up, youre right that theyre not getting lime but also the point isnt just about having two duelists. the actual problem is that their entire system was built for something and now the meta shifted, so theyre playing around it instead of with it. jerrwin and reduxx can cover raze and jett fine but if the whole macro around it is still stuck in 2025 then it doesnt matter who the duelist is. jonahp has had decent moments but hes also looked shaky in certain series and acting like hes untouchable is weird, especially when youre talking about fitting people into roles they might not be perfect for
Never put anyone in any role, my whole reply was to keep the same roster since it just needs more time. jonahP isnt untouchable lmao hes just the best option for SEN that is available

ok so like the actual issue here is that EP isnt just gonna let lime walk just cause SEN wants him. thats their flex and controller and honestly they're relying on him way more than people think. plus even if somehow that happens, SEN still has the same duelist depth they already have. reduxx and jerrwin can cover raze and jett, thats not even a problem. the proposal just shuffles people around and calls it a fix but it doesnt solve anything real

the money argument doesnt really hold when youre talking about a player thats integral to how a team functions. yeah SEN can throw bags but EP would have to actively sabotage themselves to let that happen, and theyre not doing that mid-season just because someone overpays. the import slot matters less if the player you bring in leaves a bigger hole than the one you fill
son money talks. this is esports, EP isn’t big enough of an org to refuse sen offer.
youre still sidestepping the real issue though. even if penny is mechanically better at jett and raze, sen already have two duelists who can play those agents. the problem isnt filling duelist, its whether the risk of uprooting ep's system and overpaying for a player they dont actually need is worth it. and jonahp being their secondary caller matters more than people think in a team that relies on gameplan over pure mechanics

over JonahP? i mean he should take the first tier 1 offer he can get but a dysfunctional sen roster thats changed like 4 times this year may not work out too well plus you'd be replacing their best player arguably
