In the event of a 3 way tie does it go map differential or round differential?

If it’s a 2-3 tie between Sen, NRG and 100T

Isn’t 100T the one missing playoffs? Idk how it works

yes

yes because sen and nrg both have h2h on 100t
h2h > maps > rounds

Now I could be wrong but head to head isn't weighed in a 3 way tie

yes it is because sentinels and nrg both beat 100t, if it was a rock paper scissors between them it goes to map diff

I swear it used to not work like that, did they change it?

no because of map differential I believe, if 100T was 2-3 alongside either of those teams on their own they would miss out but because its all 3 it goes to map diff

that happens if its a rock paper scissors, for example sen beat 100t, 100t beat nrg, and nrg beat sen, this invalidates h2h

map diff then rounds

It's specifically Head-to-Head map diff then Head-to-Head round diff

Exactly, not just map diff.
