Anyone know which is more optimal historically? Should DRX focus on saving strategies or going for best placement?

This match is completely useless for seeding for krx. At worst, they get 3rd seed which is basically the same as 2nd seed tbh.

This match is just to gain one more champs point.

prx vs krx next week will be what decides who will be 1st seed.

KRX can still be the fourth seed

It is so unlikely to happen.

You would need:

  • krx to not win a single map in their last 2 games
  • geng to not lose a single map in their last 2 games
  • ge to not lose a single map in their last 2 games

If KRX loses both games, TS loses both games, and NS wins against GE. KRX will be the fourth seed

The following "Subgroup Tie-breaker Rule" will be applied for 3+ Team tie-breakers:

  • If any Team(s) can be clearly ranked highest based on the given criterion (e.g., head-to-head match score), all teams will be split into two subgroups: the top Team(s) and the remaining Team(s). The remaining Teams are treated as one group, even if they are no longer tied under that criterion.
  • A new tiebreaker is then applied from the beginning, based on the number of Teams in each subgroup.
Example: In a 4-way tie, if two Teams can be clearly ranked highest using the given criterion, the four Teams will be split into two 2-Team subgroups. Each subgroup will then follow the 2-way tiebreaker process, starting from (1) Head-to-head Match Score.
The next tie-breaker criterion (e.g., (2), (3), etc.) is used only when no subgrouping can be made based on the current step.
  • This process is repeated until all Teams are fully ranked

NS map diff minileague is +1, so they'll be the second seed.
GENG will be third cos they have h2h against KRX

Beautiful. Looks like DRX are deciding to go with the route of saving strats.
