I want you guys to think of some teams that are relatively similar in CS2 and VALORANT. And no I don't mean by name or logo or players, I mean by skillset, gameplay, and placements in tournaments.
I'll start
G2 in VALORANT - Falcons in CS2
G2 make every international (as of late) but never win.
Falcons make every playoffs of the events they join, but never win and are typically a first round exit.
Both teams have good rosters and hopeful fans, but neither have pulled through
M8 - Spirit
best player in the world, one guy who pulls his weight, a blonde IGL that does nothing, and horrible performances
yeah this is a good one, wouldn't call marteen best in the world but definitely amongst the top currently
Vitality/MIBR Valorant = Team Falcons/BCGame CS2
These are "superteams" that haven't achieved as much as expected, despite all of the potential of their players and all of the money that were spent on building these rosters
Team Heretics/ZETA Division Valorant = Team Liquid/MOUZ CS2
Teams that can put up a good fight against anyone on a good day, but on a bad day, the teams look like Silver lobbies
for 1. I wouldn't consider BC.Game a superteam with washed s1mple & friends
for 2. ZETA DIVISION can NOT put up a good fight against anyone, they couldn't put up a good fight against my grandma
True, BC.Game is a bad example of a superteam, I think Team Liquid/FaZe/MOUZ CS2 teams would be better examples of a failed superteam, as they have had some superstar potential but they just haven't manifested them for some reason. Current ZETA Division is also a bad example as they are a bad team, and I think better examples of inconsistent but cracked teams would be GIANTX, DFM or FULL SENSE, since all of these teams have many cracked players with lots of potential, but for some reason are still wildly inconsistent.
