Cant believe emea let this guy go
man EMEA letting all of this russian talent go
has to be a crime
they couldve won a trophy ages ago if they kept the russian talent within the region

The fpx and gambit russians are special for some reason and don't seem to deal with visa issues anymore I guess
I think they're fine in Europe because they've been doing it for a long time atp, but if the league never lets new russians in then they will always have issues
Anyway I think "suspicion" of potential visa issues is not a good enough reason to never pick up russian players
True I can't see how there isn't a way for making it easier like starting the process a lot sooner and having them stay in Berlin for longer in the year but it depends between individual people I think
well mb then but still it makes sense for orgs to not pick up more russians, why pay a dude who has a high chance of not playing lan or going to internationals
Idk how Riot exactly wants things to be handled but theoratically it wouldn't be hard to fiddle with the contracts to make things smooth
old fpx shao and suygetsu got their visas in 2022 and kept renewing them, old gambit roster had visa issues in early 2023, when they were signed to other t1 orgs, exp redbull 2023 when liquid played with mistic and enzo instead of redgar nats, cause they didn't have their visas ready. i also think being a resident of serbia helps with visa if you are russian, exp purp0
All thanks to KC losing Pakko and F4ngeer
And keeping Fraudwatch Engh and Zeish
