Gais acknowledged that there is no time for him to adapt to a new team for the next stage, but that he is open to taking up an assistant coaching role.

Vlad had been unattached since the end of the 2025 season, when he helped ULF reach the pinnacle of tier two Valorant at EMEA Ascension. Gais had been FUT's head coach for the past four and a half years, joining after the 2021 season to lead a squad headlined by MrFaliN and qRaxs . In 2023, the first year of Valorant's partnership era, FUT ended the year third in the EMEA League, qualifying for Masters Tokyo as well as Champions Los Angeles. In 2024, with Turkish legend cNed , FUT started the year by watching the year's first Masters event from home, but qualified for Masters Shanghai, finishing 5th-6th. The Turkish squad finished outside of the top three in regional play, but qualified for Champions Seoul as EMEA's Championship Points representative. Since 2024, FUT has failed to qualify for an international event, most recently finishing 11th-12th at EMEA Kickoff earlier this year.
