I've been thinking this since the beggining of the season and obviously it's not the reason them getting destroyed, but I don't understand their roles at all.
GlobeX sure is a formidable duelist player, but he proved last year that he was also one of the best smokes in EMEA, meawhile Kajuks made a name for himself playing duelist in NE. But instead, he's being put on smokes, which he's looked really uncomfortable on. Just switch the roles no?

I really dont know
I assume you're looking at the stats for last year to guage Globex's impact? Cause he was a top smokes in t2 for sure, but the amount of impact he was able to have on that role compared to what he's shown on duelist is just... miles apart?

This match wasnt the best to show it, but he is just THE duelist in spain rn

I'm not discussing how good globeX is on duelist, I'm discussing the choice to put Kajuks on smokes when GlobeX can still be very impactful on smokes

Fair fair, wanted to focus on the positive since it feels a bit weird to speak about one of the best t2 teams we have like this:

The issue is that Globex is sorta what sets this team apart in Spain. Im not sure Kajuks would be able to take over to these extreme levels.

I also dont think swapping would have fixed the initial comfort issues either (maybe globex would have grown faster, but eeeeeh)
Kajuks omen looks fine
And thats the main smokes Globex plays (Might be a map issue, but his Astra was criminal stage 3/Finals 2025)

So imo leaning into the strongest roster you can make rn, and trusting that a young player like Kajuks will grow into his new role (he has been improving compared to stage 1 at least) is the better option

Idk I thought the same tbh but it was working fine one game isn't enough for it to suddenly be fraudulent even if the format makes it sound like that

maybe, I don't think it would revolutionize the team anyway, but it's very wird and I don't think it maximises their potential

again it's not the reason they lost, but I've been thinking that since the beggining of the season and I think it's part of the reason they struggled in splt 1
