blg are not better than XLG or EDG, even with knight they would not have won. Knight is an alright player, he isnt carrying BLG, Biank played very well overall as well.
This narrative of BLG being better I swear came from nowhere. It feels like it comes from a deep rooted dissapointment of EDG and XLG. EDG absolutely smashed BLG in the finals yet people act like knight wouldve saved them. Could blg win with knight? sure, but they def werent likely too.
sure, but BLG werent reliant on strats, and their strats were never that complex or good. They are at the core, a fundamental team with whzy being a little silly at times.
What lost BLG that series was their poor reactions to certain ideas, having breach, and overall weak midrounding. not set strats or performance. Something they were struggling with since champs 2025
someone said that nephh looked really stressed because of what happened to knight which is natural because one of your teammates got hospitalised, then he proceeded to play very badly which makes sense due to circumstances
not sure if it was Frost in his spiketalk podcast or someone else
this excuses personal performance sure, but then its not just nephh, everyone must have been so affected that they messed up a majority of their protcools, because it just wasnt good
