VCT 2027 changes

Stuff to implement next year/the future:

1. 4 international events per year, 3 masters & Champs (1 event in each region going from 12->16->20->24 teams)

2. 16 teams per league for a total of 64 partnered teams

3. Play matches twice a week to make stages faster such as Friday-Sunday and Tuesday-Thursday matches

4. Schedule:
   Triple elim kickoff (January) - top 3 qual
   Masters 1 (February)
   Stage 1 (March-April) - 7 games against unique teams, top 4 qual
   Masters 2 (May)
   Stage 2 (June-July) - 8 games against teams not faced - top 4 qual + highest champ points
   Masters 3 (August)
   LCQ (September) - 16 partnered + 8 tier 2 teams for 24 team double elim bracket, top 4 qual + 2 highest champ points
   Champs (October)
   Relegation/Promotion (November) - top 2 tier 2 teams in Lcq/champs face bottom 2 franchised teams in a bo5 double elim bracket, top 2 promote/stay in franchise for the next year

5. Tournament prize pools increased
   Masters 1 - $2M
   Masters 2 - $3M
   Masters 3 - $4M
   Champs - $5M

6. Regular stage prize pools increased
   Kickoff - $500k
   Stage 1 - $500k
   Stage 2 - $500k
   Lcq - $1M
   also for tier 2 increase stage prize pools to $500k-$1M

7. Other rules
   Decrease challengers minimum age to 13+ and if possible vct minimum age to 16+, also 2 imports instead of 1 for teams again

8. Bo5/Bo7 matches
   Upper finals, lower finals, and lower round 3/match before lower final all to be bo5s, as well as bo7 match for grand finals would be peak

9. MVPs
   Separate grand final mvp and tournament/stage mvp, 2 different players usually

10. Academy teams
    Allow academy teams to play LCQ/champs and potentially promote to tier 1, need to sell spot to another team though (preferably runner up)

11. Double elim playoffs
    For double elim stage playoffs, all teams start in upper bracket, 1 seed facing 8, 2 seed facing 7, no team at the bottom with 1 life

12. Vct capsules
    Players get their own teams Vct capsule for free
    Vct capsules change guns every year and are more interesting
    Custom gun buddies, sprays, flexes, player cards, and titles (can choose their own like 2024)
    2000vp for first time buying a bundle for a team, then discounted to 1500 for second time buys and on

13. Replay system
    Works for custom games and can choose/favorite ones to not get auto deleted
    Can watch through in game client any past tier 1 and tier 2 vods in esports tab
