Americas has less matches each week than the other regions, so while the other regions did middle round 1, middle round 2, and upper round 3 in one week, Americas has to push back either middle round 2 or upper round 3.

I imagine this is also why Americas started a week earlier, so that all 4 regions would end on the same week

I never actually realized this was the case. I assume it's just a coincidence though. I think China started earlier last year cuz of holidays or something.
