his last contract ran from 2025 to 2027. Even if you assume he was getting paid league minimum (50k) in order to cancel his contract and kick him they would've had to pay him the entirety of the contract's worth of salary. So 50k for 2025, another 50k for 2026 and another 50k for 2027. At least that the standard for most employment contracts, unless they had a clause that they didn't have to pay him that until the year started or something
Unless FURIA's management is grossly incompetent, there is no way they don't have a clause allowing them to drop a player at anytime wtith little reprucussion. Like their org wouldn't survive all their rebuilds otherwise
I'd give them the benefit of the doubt if it wasn't FURIA management who has not been able to come up with a decent team in 3 seasons now. U never know lmao
usually thats now how val contracts work. i highly doubt the money after 2025 was guaranteed
